The opening script has Kirino talking about how cute Taketatsu Ayana is and Kuroneko talking about Hanazawa Kana sexually harassing her lol. Nice one staff! OTL

– Ayana says she had an Animate point card since she was in elementary school, meaning she had frequented anime shops since she was in grade school lol.

– Listeners have sent in mail about keeping their otaku hobbies a secret from their family and Ayana comments that she never had to do that, in fact she’s always played her galge in the living room lol. She mentions Tokimeki Memorial and Mahou Shoujo Fancy Coco. Ayana leads it into trying to convince Kana into playing them with her but Kana declines.

– A listener sends in a mail talking about how she was a serious person before but a friend had given her Ayana’s character song to listen to and she loved it. She then proceeded on to watch the anime and became an otaku from there haha. I wonder which song it was… Probably K-ON’s, that seems to be the most non-otaku friendly anime she’s been involved with to drag people in with.

– Upon finding out Kana has a glasses fetish Ayana says she’ll put on glasses for her next time :D

– Ayana does a pretty good impression of Tamura Yukari’s voice :O

– Ayana misreads 続投(zokutou; continuing to pitch[baseball]) as zokueki, a non-existent word, to Kana’s confusion lol. She gets all embarrassed and apologizes afterwards hah.

And so on to #10. I’m not looking forward to when I catch up and I’ll have no more episodes to listen to :(

The studio they’re in for this episode is different again, and it seems like they’re sharing one microphone. Which creates a problem, Ayana’s voice was too loud and Kana’s voice was too soft at the start D:
Kana: “It’s like a scene from a terrace in Hawaii.”
Ayana: “Eh? How is it?”
Kana: “The microphone is like a glass with a straw in the middle of a table.”
Ayana: “Huh? What? The microphone’s like a straw??”
Ayana doesn’t really agree, yeah Kana that’s a pretty distant comparison lol.

– Kana brought Ayana a souvenir from her trip to Singapore :D

– Kyousuke is cool
Ayana: “Kyousuke’s been so cool recently, I want to make him my wife. Wait, husband. I want to make him my husband”

– Ayana tries to convert Kana into gaming again by convincing her to play Monster Hunter with her. She doesn’t succeed though lol

Kana x Ayana love is great and all but I’d really love to see some guests on OreImo Radio sometime… Like Nakamura :D

Solo radio show hosted by Hanazawa Kana. For some reason it’s pretty much the only solo radio show I listen to from time to time even when there are no guests. This episode guests Taketatsu Ayana, making this episode feature the popular OreImo yuri seiyuu duo lol.
Ayana starts off leading the show alone and tells everyone not to change the channel since Kana will be coming in later lol.

– They start off with a quiz about Ayana for Kana, if she gets it all right she gets her present. Looks like it’s a rather expensive present too :O

– 1st question: What’s Ayana’s favourite colour? A: Pink
Kana had no idea from the start and started floundering lol. She made a wild guess for pink and got it right lol. Her reasoning: “Well Ayana looks good in pink”.
Eh looks like they’ll continue the quiz later throughout the show.

– A listener sends in a mail saying that Ayana wrote on her blog before the Nico Live event that she was happy just to meet Kana. Kana questions her about this and Ayana denies it while embarassed lol.

– Ayana jokes that she’ll come every week to the radio show for free :D

– When Ayana finds out that Kana can cook she asks her to come over to cook for her, which she agrees to :D.

– Ayana hears a snippet of a previous radio episode where Kana fangirled over her.
Kana: “Sorry for you coming here and hearing that.”
Ayana: “Ah its alright, seems like you’re becoming creepier recently.”
Kana: “Oh… Tell me when I’m being creepy and I’ll try and stop.”
Ayana: “It’s okay I love the creepy Kana too :3”

– Question 2: What radio show is Ayana currently hosting with Numakura Manami? A: Taketatsu Numakura no Hajimete demo ii desu ka?
This is actually a show that’s been going on for almost 3/4 of a year now. Kana knew about it and guessed it without the personality names at the front, which resulted in an incorrect answer. Ayachi acts all tsun saying “Even though you say you love me so much… It’s hosted at the same A&G and Kana didn’t know about it…” lol.

– They mention that they’re going on a date after the recording lol. (And Ayana dressed up for it :D)

– Digital Cameras
Ayana: “If I had a digital camera I’d do a photoshoot with only Kana, only for me.”
Kana: “That’s a bit creepy”
Ayana: “Eh? Why?? I love you that much!”
Kana: “Ah thanks…”

– Question 3: What did Ayana have for dinner last night? A: Meat
Kana: “How would I know?!”
In the end Ayana hinted that it was at a staff event with her favourite food and Kana guessed it right.

– Question 4: Who is the writer’s (of the radio show) favourite seiyuu? A: Taketatsu Ayana
As if it’s Taketatsu Ayana lol, he’s always been fanboying over Tomatsu Haruka! Kana guessed Tomatsu straight off and it was incorrect, to everyone’s surprise lol.

– Ayana gives Kana chocolate as a late Valentines Day present :D

– Question 5: What does Taketatsu Ayana admire most about Hanazawa Kana? A: How seriously she does her job
Kana guesses at “How cool Kana is” since Ayana has mentioned many times how cool she thinks she is…. but gets it incorrect. Ayana makes fun of her saying “Ehh? Do you think of yourself as a cool person??” ahahaha poor Kana.

In the end Kana gets a disposable camera as her birthday present, to her disappointment lol.

Hmm? Apparently they’re recording this episode in the anime recording studio. They comment it’s really spacious and feels kinda weird.

– The two of them don’t sit together during the recording, but Ayana occasionally comes up to Kana to talk to her :D

– Kana takes a look at Ayana’s script and notice her scribbles in it. Seems like Ayana draws a star on lines she wants to check with the director, a triangle for when she can leave the line out and a circle for her own lines. Ahh it’s easy to forget sometimes but the seiyuu part really is more than just speaking lines :D

– They don’t go into details whats written in the script but Ayana gives the hint “くんかくんか”. Well it looks like it was episode 11 then lol.

– When talking about Kana singing, Ayana tells Kana she’s listened to her “_____ Circulation” before heh. A friend had shown her the song before Ayana had become friends with Kana, Ayana thought it was a really cute song and her friend told her after that it was Kana’s song lol. Kana in turn told her that she’s listened to her Mayoi Neko Overrun songs haha.

– Talk about lolis and Ayana
Kana: “Aren’t you a loli?”
Ayana: “Well once people pass 20 I guess they wouldn’t be a loli anymore.”
Kana: “Ehhh, go back go back~~”
Ayana: “What are you saying?!”
While they’re talking about lolis, Yuuki Aoi’s name pops up in the conversation haha.

– Ayana says she loves lolis and mentions in particular Kaho from Sister Princess. Kana doesn’t know Sister Princess and Ayana starts describing the anime to her. She gets really heated up describing the anime and Kana laughs saying she really sounds like Kirino. Ahh I feel like watching Sister Princess now lol OTL

– Ayana says she’s become a strong supporter of Kirino X Kyousuke and really wants to see them end up together. She laments about the blood relation setting and starts wondering if she could convince the writer to get rid of the whole blood relation thing ahaha.

Ayana was pretty aggressive this episode, it was pretty cool to hear :D It really feels like they’re actually friends now rather than friendly workmates now. She completely let loose on the otaku aspects of the show, going on and on about Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Sister Princess, etc. lol. Poor Kana couldn’t keep up with her.

The episode is episode 0 rather than 1 due to it using it’s first episode to explain the corners and such I think. I don’t think the two of them seemed to get it as well lol. Apparently the recordings for the anime episodes are well under way with multiple episodes already being recorded at the time. The radio aired about a month before the anime began.

– The two of them say that they’ve met each other before, their first meeting was a long time ago, almost 5 years back , back when Hayami was in middle school. Something about a party held for “I’m Enterprise’s” rookie seiyuu since they both entered the agency at around the same time. Wait now that I think about it, Ayana is 2 years older than Hayami :O

– Ayana was really nervous about the radio before it started, but was still looking forward to working on a radio with her.

– First impression of Hayami
Ayana: “You were really well mannered and formal at the time”

– Ayana comments that Hayami seems to do a lot of aloof or mature roles and Hayami agrees. She describes Arashiko as starting off as that type of character and changing into a more upbeat character as the series progresses.

– Ayana fangirling over Tanaka Rie
Ayana: “Her voice radiates such a “mature woman” feel. She adds such a sexy yet cool attribute to her voice, I really admire that~”

– The two of them were amazed at Fukuyama Jun’s work on Tarou. I agree, seeing JunJun voicing Tarou in person would be pretty amazing lol.

The radio was really amusing to listen to due to the corners they had, the two of them had a blast acting S lol. I’m starting to love Ayachi on radio.
They really enjoyed playing with S lines lawl.

In the opening script, the two of them joke about the anime being renamed to “My older brother can’t be this cool!” due to how nice of a brother Kyousuke is lol.

– The anime has just started airing around this time, Ayana says she hasn’t seen the first episode yet, but Kana has.

– Kana x Ayana
Kana: “Ayachi’s so cute… Can I lick you?”
Ayana: “What? No!”
Kana: “I bet if I licked you you’d definitely taste like chocolate”
Ayana: “As if I would! I wouldn’t be human!”

LOL the love is stepping up with each episode :D

– Ayana says that she’s been told that her stare looks a bit flat/dead in photos and such, especially by her manager :O

– Apparently the live event last episode was the first time Kana’s been in charge of the MC, Ayana’s surprised saying that she did a great job.

– Ayana and Kana both agree that they want an elder brother like Kyousuke :D

– About Nakamura Yuuichi
Ayana: “And the voice is Nakamura! That’s such a nice voice. I’ve pretty much made Nakamura = Kyousuke in my mind. Just hearing him say his lines make me go “Aaah~~!””
Kana: “You should say these things to Nakamura!”
Ayana: “I’d be way too embarassed to tell him”
Kana makes fun of what his reaction would be if she told him, saying he’s a tsundere and would probably say something gruff back lol.

– One of the internet lingo they had to guess the meaning for the episode was “dgsks” the two of them have no idea but Ayana makes a blind guess yelling out “だがしかし” (but, however) and gets it right to their complete surprise.

– Another internet lingo had the meaning “Lets kiss~” They wonder if they would ever use it.
Ayana: “Who would I use it on?? Oh I’ll use it on you randomly maybe. Lets kiss~(in a really lazy slow monotone voice)”
Kana: “Ehh Say it in a cuter way”
Ayana: “Le— I don’t want to say it. Maybe not now. In the future maybe”

– About Lupin
Kana: “I liked Goemon”
Ayana: “I loved Lupin the most, I wanted to be Fujiko~”

– The two of them talk about Cinderella and how painful it would be to walk with glass slippers, and if it broke… IT’D CUT YOUR FOOT UP D:

– It seems like Ayana loves topics to do with space and astronomy and stuff like that :O

The two of them have started teasing each other and making fun of each other, which they comment on saying that it’s probably proof that they’re getting closer as friends <3. Kana warns Ayana that the things she’ll say will get worse though lol, but encourages Ayana to say something back whenever she does :D. I love how close these two are becoming <3

This was a recording of a live audience event, you can hear the [all male crowd] going crazy at the background lol. I remember hoping for Nakamura Yuuichi to guest but he didn’t :(. Oh well.

– Nabatame wore makeup to the event, since she felt left out as being the eldest(by far lol) out of the girls but when Kana saw her the first thing she said was “Wow, Nabatame’s wearing makeup~~~!” teasingly lol Kana’s so mean sometimes~

– Hayami talking about Ayase.
Hayami: “Ayase’s a pretty girl who’s nice and kind and friendly and all… At first… Then she’s…”
Ayana + Kana: “Spoilers! Spoilers!!”
Hayami: “Ah well, she becomes a bit ‘cheeky’… Let’s just say she loves Kirino a lot!”

– Apparently ClariS (the singer of the OP) is currently in middle school, they speak a bit about it and the 4 of them were really surprised. Well I’m surprised too lol
Kana: “Ehh… Her voice is so mature, feels like we’re losing to a middle school student in that regard”

– One of the corners have the seiyuu fill out a “Ore no ___ ga konna ni ____ wake ga nai!” phrase, Taketatsu wanted to put something talking about how cute Kirino was but didn’t in the end, but Kana said it was alright, she wrote something like that for hers. What she wrote:
“My Taketatsu Ayana can’t be this attached to me!”, she explained that the other day she was with Ayana the whole day, from 9 AM to 9 PM or so, with OreImo related work, and they were holding hands and other lovely things lol. My guess is that she’s referring to one of those photoshoots she’s done with Ayana?
Kana: “Ayachi’s hand is so small~ <3”
Kana also fawns over the way Ayana does those angry sighs for Kirino infront of the microphone to Ayana’s embarrassment lol <3.

– Satou says she tried to put a “grandmother” feel in the way she voiced Manami, since Kyousuke kept saying she was like a grandmother in the original novels.

Ahh Kana and Ayana are so raburabu now~ <3

Darker Than Black Backstage Pass #6

Radio for the second season of Darker Than Black. It turns out that Hanazawa Kana had a bad cold at the time of it’s recording, she had a mask on as well as that nose-blocked voice and emphasized to the other two, Hidenobu Kiuchi and Fukuen Misato, to stay far away from her so as not to catch it. Also I’m probably being a terrible person for saying this but… KANA WAS SO ADORABLE IN THIS EPISODE <3 <3 OTL

Juuninin no Yasashii Koroshiya SideR #8

Radio hosted by Sugita at around late 2008. This episode had Fukuyama Jun as a guest.

– The first time Fukuyama Jun had met Sugita was when they went to karaoke as a group. At the time he thought Sugita was far older than him and spoke to him using formal speech. Throughout the whole outing he spoke to him this way until another person told him “Hey Sugita’s younger than you, why are you using formal speech with him?” to which Jun exclaimed “WHAT!? Why didn’t you tell me from the start Sugita?!” This was when they were about 20 years old haha.

Iguchi Yuka no Mu~~~n ⊂（　＾ω＾）⊃ #8

Iguchi Yuka’s new radio which started a couple of weeks after her own ChoRaji! Girls had ended. The name comes from something she’s often done, yelling “Mu~~~n” with her arms open wide lol. Another reason why the name is Mu~~~n is due to the show being aired on Monday, which is written as “Moon Day” in Japanese(as well as English incidentally, a random bit of trivia: The english word Monday was derived from the Old English Mōnandæg and Middle English Monenday which means “Moon Day”) This is the first episode that she’s had a guest come on, I’m glad it’s earlier than her previous ChoRaji! Girls which had it’s first guest on it’s 19th episode. The three guests are here as a Tamayura special.

I know next to nothing about Gibu Yuuko; I know Asumi Kana has barely met up with Taketatsu Ayana before, and only during recent recordings; and that Asumi and Iguchi are really close friends but other than that I’m not sure how well the others know each other. Yuuko has guested on Iguchi’s ChoRaji! Girls once as it’s last guest on 2010.8.27, a month before the show ended. Incidentally Yuuko goes on to guest on Asumi Kana’s own radio show soon after this episode.

Ayana, Asumi and Yuuko were jumping around in the window in the other room at the start lol.

The recordings for the anime have started. Also it appears that there’s an OreImo event happening tomorrow. The two of them have no idea what’s gonna occur in the event lol.

– A female listener sends in a mail saying she loves the women in anime, the bishoujo anime, the female seiyuu and female idols. Ayana agrees saying she’s the same, reaffirming that she likes female seiyuu, male-oriented galge, female characters etc.

– The two of them love watching random AKB stuff it seems. “Because they’re cute”

– Ayana says she likes tsunderes in anime but in real life they’re a pain to deal with (lol), Kana agrees with her.

– When talking about nice elder brothers they both start saying “Ah.. I want an elder brother…” Ayana then realises she’s already got one lol. Probably not the kind of ideal relationship she’s wanting I guess hah.

– Mario Eats the Mushrooms he picks up
Kana: “Ehh maybe he doesn’t eat them. Maybe he puts them in his pants or something”
Ayana: “Wouldn’t they get in the way, he might have trouble adventuring with them in there…”

– Did you have fun on this episode?
Ayana: “I had fun~”
Kana: “I had fun watching Ayana laugh~ <3”

They spoke about a lot of random things I didn’t feel like writing down (such as global warming, cute little sisters, tunas never stop swimming- even when sleeping, etc.). The short notes doesn’t mean it was a boring episode!
