Momonoki 5

– Nakamura Eriko groping Hikasa Youko on radio from Momonoki 5 (hosted by the two of them) on Hikasa’s birthday, 16th of July 2010.

Eriko: I have a present for you! Do you want it?
Hikasa: No.
Eriko: Eh?
Hikasa: Thanks, but no thanks.
Eriko: Oh you’ll take it? Thank you so very much!!
Hikasa: I can’t get through to her…
Eriko: …Hmm? …Hmm? The key.. I lost the key?
Hikasa: What?
Eriko: Sorry I prepared a present for you, but I seem to have lost the key to the box holding the present.
Hikasa: Thats great!
Eriko: I think I must have dropped it around here…
*Goes to Hikasa*
Hikasa: …Huh? …Save me! Save me! I’m being violated! No! *hii hii* Stop it! You… You sexually harrassing demonic bastard! You… You perverted lez bastard!
Eriko: I can’t find it… I guess it should be down below then?
Hikasa: …Below? …SAVE ME!! She’s trying to flip my skirt! She’s trying to flip my skirt! …You… You pervert! …Nakamura… They’ll catch you… They’ll catch you for this…!
Eriko: Ah it should be somewhere here.
Hikasa: Stopstopstopstopstopit THOSE ARE BREASTS
Eriko: Ah sorry, sorry, there wasn’t anything there so I didn’t notice… (LOL)
Maybe around your ear?
Hikasa: Stopstopstop save meee! Ah that tickles~ that tickles…That’s the inside of my ear!
Eriko: Ah I see.
Hikasa: Save me! You sexually harrassing devil bastard!
Eriko: I can’t seem to find it… Hmm?
Hikasa: Save mee… You…
Eriko: Ah I found it! Found it!!
Hikasa: …I’m going to kill you…
Eriko: Well now that we’ve found it it’s time to open up that present!
Hikasa: …What was with that little act…

Incidentally, the present was a keychain with “N.E” on it, Nakamura Eriko’s initials lol, which Hikasa threw back at Eriko ahaha.

My god Momonoki 5 is crazy lol.

Hanazawa Kana no Hitori de Dekiru Kana #84

– Hanazawa Kana talking about that new Roukyuubu seiyuu unit she’s in

Kana: “Yeah I’ve just become part of a singing unit and its… pretty amazing. We were in a completely white dress. And our legs were really, really showing.
…
I mean there’s me, Hikasa Youko, Iguchi Yuka, Ogura Yui and Hidaka Rina. Isn’t that just a really interesting combination? *laughs* And it’s us three[Iguchi, Hikasa, Kana] mashed inbetween the 15 and 16 year olds. How weird is that?”

Yeah even she finds the unit amusing ahaha.

Also on a random note, it seems like Kana has seen, and is a fan of Azumanga Daioh! :D

Toaru Radio no Index #12

They’re drinking the same alcohol as last episode lol

– It looks like Iguchi’s got a high tolerance for alcohol :O

– The script has Noto introducing herself as “Hello, this is your Noto Mamiko” and the other two are like “YAYY!! My Noto Mamiko?? MY NOTO MAMIKO???” ahaha

– Noto says she’s gotten teary from reading some scripts but says there was one in particular that had her crying really heavily. She didn’t say it’s name though… WAS IT CLANNAD? WAS IT. I STILL GET TEARY JUST THINKING ABOUT CLANNADKASDJFSKADLJASLDFJK ;_;

– Iguchi mentions a time from an anime she’s worked in where there’s a love triangle and it really touched her. Was it True Tears I wonder?

I’m not sure why I didn’t write much for this episode, I found it really hilarious too. It seemed like the alcohol was having a stronger effect on them this episode lol, with the three of them continuously denying that they were drunk whenever they did something strange haha.

The two of them introduced the alcohol they were drinking for this episode far more enthusiastically than they talked about their guest lol. Incidentally the alcohol they’re drinking is the same one SatoRina drank with Kanae on Railgun Radio, the one that got her tipsy after a couple of sips lol. Noto is the first female guest of Index Radio, at it’s 11th episode, and also it’s first in studio guest, the last guest was Atsushi Abe in a live audience recording.

– Noto found Himegami difficult to play. she was told not to put much expression into her character, but then was told to put a little more. Noto had spoken with the director a few times to ask if she was on track with Himegami.

– SatoRina noted that she had never been in the recordings with Noto since Misaka and Himegami hasn’t appeared together before :O

– Noto says she’s worked as a shrine maiden part time before a long time ago :O She says that the clothing was pretty difficult to wear, it was particularly problematic when needing to go to the toilet.

– When asking Noto if she has any special abilities for one of the corners, the two of them mention that Iguchi can find people really easily and SatoRina says she can sit in the traditional seiza position forever :O

– Noto’s “special ability” is “Being able to treat anywhere as her home” saying that she can relax anywhere as if it’s her own room.

– A listener sends in a mail talking about his special ability of how he’s able to make goosebumps on his skin at will, and even make it appear on certain places only. Wow that’s sooo creepy ahaha. They laugh about wanting to see it in person, or even in a photo lol. They ended up naming the ability “Dokodemo Chicken” “Dokodemo” meaning “Wherever” and “chicken” taken from the japanese word for goosebumps.

I think they got a bit tipsy near the end lol.

Bonbori Radio Hanairo Housoukyoku #1

Radio for the currently airing anime, Hanasaku Iroha hosted by Ohana’s Itou Kanae and Tomoe’s Noto Mamiko. They comment that although this is the first time they’ve done radio work together, they’ve worked in many other anime recordings together before.

– Kanae’s image of Noto

Kanae: “The image I have of Noto as a person is like an angel!”
Noto: “Ehhhhh?!”
Kanae: “You seem really ‘floaty’ so I was thinking that this radio would turn out pretty relaxed”

– The two of them are made to adlib a character introduction as their characters on the spot, and they’re really not in character, which they laugh about.

– Kanae comments that she’s the same height as Ohana at 147 cm. Noto says how cute that is, and that at the recording studio there’s a smaller microphone to use, though it’s only slightly shorter.

– Noto says that she’s swum around in the hot springs when no one’s around before, Kanae says she doesn’t know if she would since she’s never had the chance to be alone in a hot spring.

– One of the listeners gets them to whisper really softly into the microphone. Ahhhh happinessssss for my earssss.

– Noto’s hometown is Kanazawa, the setting of Hanasaku Iroha :D. Kanae remembers hearing Noto talking about the town during the trip there for an event.

Everyone fawns over how cute Kanae is when they’re with her on radio, and Noto is no exception <3 Kanae you so adorable~ <3

Oh and Omigawa Chiaki looks to be guesting on the next episode… Eh… Well regardless of what I think of Omigawa’s voice acting ability, she’s not too boring on radio I guess. I still hate her voice acting though. Really. Like, so, so much.

Sora no ManiMani★Housoushitsu #1

Sora no ManiMani★Broadcasting Room radio for the 2009 anime Sora no ManiMani. Hayami is 18 years old at the time and Kanae is 22, making it a 4 year difference between them. Hmm… Don’t mind me, I’m just having trouble imagining someone younger than Kanae (lol) They comment that this is the first time they’ve done radio work together.

– Kanae asks if Hayami’s from Tokyo and upon finding it out asks if she sees many stars from the city. Hayami says she doesn’t see that many stars but the bright ones like the stars in Orion’s constellation can still be seen easily. Kanae’s come from Nagano and says that when she came to Tokyo she noticed that the stars were much less visible.

– That’s not a star Hayamin~

Kanae: “There are stars that twinkle heaps aren’t there?”
Hayami: “Yeah and sometimes there are red twinkly ones too”
Kanae: “Wait, what?”
Hayami: “It blinks red on and off and stuff”
*staff talking in the background*
Hayami: “What? That’s a plane?? *laughs*”
Kanae: “A plane?? *laughs* But don’t they move fast? Yours didn’t?”
Hayami: “It… Didn’t”
Kanae: “Wouldn’t that be a UFO or something?”

Lol whaaaat am I listening to?!

– Kanae had no idea that stars were burning OTL

– Kanae misreads Mahjong as Majin lol

– Kanae’s favourite scene in the first episode of Sora no ManiMani was when Mihoshi was throwing stars off the roof when she was first introduced.

– Hayami wonders who was the character who thought up the idea of throwing paper stars from the roof, and Kanae says it was obviously Mihoshi lol. Of course, who else could it be Hayamin~?

I’ve missed Itou Kanae and all her adorableness <3.

Random Radio Scribbles 2

Stuff gathered from my Soup miniblog.

From Iguchi Yuka no Mu~~~n #17, 2011.01.24

A couple of weeks back Iguchi had randomly seen Asumi Kana in a clothing store, but Asumi had not yet noticed her. Iguchi then snuck up behind her and said “Ah! Are you Asumi Kana?? Can I have your autograph!?” lol.
Asumi was surprised at first and when she turned around she was kinda flustered, then saw it was Iguchi and was like “… Eh. Iguchi…” Ahahah I wish I could see that reaction :D
Incidentally, she’s also bumped into Toyosaki Aki randomly in a clothes store recently as well.
These random encounters usually happen right after work, so I guess it can happen often since they sometimes browse the stores near the studio right after a recording.

Speaking of seiyuu bumping into each other outside work…

I remember an early episode of Macross F Radio where Kamiya Hiroshi and Nakamura Yuuichi mentioned that randomly coming across another seiyuu outside work wasn’t that uncommon quoting a time recently (back when Macross Frontier had just started) where Nakamura was greeted by May’n at a train station, before he even knew her.

He was wondering who this random girl who was openly talking to him was till she noticed he didn’t recognise her, she then introduced herself as May’n and then he realised she was the singer for Sheryl.

Nakamura and Kamiya agreed that it happens rather often due to the work times and places they go to being reasonably similar for everyone in the business.

P.S. Nakamura(+Kamiya) was really surprised how easily May’n came up and spoke to him out of nowhere at the station, and admired her courage for being able to speak to someone she hadn’t met before when she randomly spotted them outside of work. May’n sounds like a wonderful person :D

 

Sugita and Nakamura about Love Plus from Sugita Tomokazu’s Anigera! Dedoooon #13

– Nakamura when he gets a bad end in Love Plus (where you end up with none of the girls)
Nakamura: “That damn girl, she looked at me with such loving eyes, how did I get a bad end!”

– Sugita explains how Love Plus works with real time events.
Nakamura: “Eh? Real time? So if I log on at 2 AM, I might find her sleeping with another man.”
Sugita: “As if that would happen!”
Nakamura: “No, well she’s a girl after all y’know, you don’t know for sure”

Hanazawa comments out of nowhere at the start how cute Aoi’s voice is, and Aoi gets all embarassed ahaha

– They read out a survey taken from their generation on what their childhood dream job was and rank #2 was “Seiyuu” lol, to their surprise.

– One of the corners have the two of them listing 3 colloquialisms and things that they think are important from their generation, Kana’s is normal, but Aoi’s has an internet meme in it ahaha. Kana laughs at how weird Aoi is when she explains her lingo and examples where she would use them ahaha.

This episode was really short =/

Ore no Imouto ga (Rajio Demo) Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai #13

They comment that this episode marks the half year anniversary of the radio, and Kana says that it also makes it the half year mark of how long she’s known Ayana for.

– They mention they haven’t played games together. What happened to Kana playing Monster Hunter? D:

– They say that the show might go on for another half year :D

– A listener sends in a mail talking about how he loves how raburabu the two of them are and for them to keep it up. They laugh that they’ve got approval from the listeners to fawn over each other as much as they can.

– Dangerous Kana is… Okay!

Ayana: “Recently Kana’s been seeming really dangerous… Well I like that about Kana too~ <3”
Kana: “Really? Is it really okay?”
Ayana: “It’s okay! Well if it really gets bad I’ll just stop you”
Kana: “Yeah just stop me”

– Ayana recommends a yuri game to the listener ahaha.

– Ayana says she watched OreImo with her mum ahaha. Wait she mentioned somewhere else that her mum watched KissxSis as well didn’t she? lol

– Ayana was introduced to BL through her fujoshi friend. She had no idea what it was at first when she bought the manga but when she saw them kissing she was kinda shocked ahaha.

– The two of them comment that they’d love to see a BL cafe lol OTL

– Ayana uses the “suuun~” sound effect :O. I’ve been seeing the “suuun~” onomatopoeia  used quite a bit recently, is this all because of Toyosaki Aki? lol.

– One of the words introduced in the internet lingo corner is “FSS”. Apparently it stands for ”ふとももすりすりしたい”(Futomomo Surisuri Shitai) which means “I want to rub [her] thighs” lol OTL.

– Talking about Gijinka (Personifications of non-human things, such as pokemon into human form sorta stuff).

Kana: “I want to see a Gijinka of Ayana”
Ayana: “Huh? I’m already human… Sorry but I’m a person?”
Kana: “Sorry that was my mistake. Yeah Ayana is a human.”

Looks like they’ll be celebrating Kana’s birthday next episode, should be great :D …Well it’s been out for a while so I already know what’s goes on in it and it is great <3

When Shaolin gets mentioned Aoi doesn’t know what it is, asking if it’s a type of soccer lol OTL. She thought of that because of the movie Shaolin Soccer and they both liked that movie haha.

– Kana says that Aoi would look good in a Maiko(along the lines of a sorta female classical entertainer ) dress, but Aoi disagrees saying she’d look like a kid dressed up for a coming of age ceremony lol. Kana says that Aoi’s small and cute <3

– Apparently Aoi can’t eat mangoes :O. Kana in turn says she can’t eat “Sunagimo” some kind of chicken gizzard.

– Aoi mentioned that she’s pretended to be Sailor Jupiter while playing pretend Sailor Moon and Kana says she pretended to be Tuxedo mask lol. She wanted to be like Ami though :O.

– Kana talked about how the boys in her middle school were really into Yugioh, and while they were playing the girls stood off to the side and commented “Ah.. How childlike…” Aoi jokingly winces and says she played Yugioh too ahaha. She said that boys would yell to each other in class “OI YOU! IT’S TIME TO DUEL!”.

– Aoi says she played Yugioh throughout high school :D.

The radio seems to be planned in a way that has them doing a whole bunch of activities rather than holding conversations with each other. It’s amusing but they don’t really talk too much about themselves for most of it until the ending talk.

Shibuya Anime Land Guesting Hanazawa Kana

Shibuya Anime Land is a radio show on NHK that’s broadcast from 10:15PM to 11 PM. They bring in not just seiyuu but various people connected to the anime industry e.g. the following episode that airs in a couple of days has Yamamoto Yutaka, the director of Kannagi, Fractale, etc. Just naming a few of their guests I see on their record: Tomatsu Haruka, Toyosaki Aki, Tamura Yukari, Hikasa Youko, Chihara Minori, MOSAIC.WAV, etc. The nice thing about these kind of radio shows compared to anime radios between two seiyuu is that you find out a lot about the seiyuu guest as a person… Which is why this post is more like a list of facts about HanaKana rather than the usual radio blurb.

– Kana was just about to have her graduation from University during this time.

– Kana says that Tenshi was a really hard role for her but it was a rewarding experience.

– Kana loves spicy foods.

– They have a pre-recorded message from Maeda Jun :O

– Supposedly there were tens and tens of people who auditioned for Tenshi.

– Apparently the cast had said that Maeda and Kana looked really alike and during an event they lined themself up and even she agreed haha.

Kana: “We were so alike that I was called Maeda’s little sister, Maeda Kana”

– Kana says that Susukihotaru is her ideal woman, she’d like to become like her :D

– After playing the character song with her + Hino Satoshi/Riken she comments that he has a really nice voice :D

– When asked what she thinks about a guy like Riken she says that she likes the clumsy and cool aspect of him… But she doesn’t like his hair lol.

– Kana takes the originals and script with her when she bathes and says her lines aloud in the bathroom :D

– Tomota says he’s a fan of Kana’s singing, and she winces ahaha. He says he loves her Renai Circulation lol.

– She talks about how she spoke with Kousaki Satoru, the composer of Renai Circulation, about how he wanted her to sing the song.

– Kana talks about how the difficult thing about character songs are finding the balance between singing in character and singing in pitch. She loves singing though and she loves her singing work :D

– For her graduation trip Kana went to Nikko.

– Seems like Renai Circulation is popular in Japan even to non-anison lovers :D

– Kana says that she’s had situations where she’s had to do a University report for the next day as well as remember her lines and has done all nighters for them lol.

– She talks a bit about her appearance on a childrens variety show back when she was 5 years old.

Kana: “My mum came up to me with a newspaper and asked me ‘There’s something like this happening… Wanna try it?’ and I said ‘Okay!’ and from there it led into modelling with various clothes, commercials and things like that”

– Kana as a child.

Kana: “I really wanted to stand out and have attention as a kid, I remember one time I gathered all the kids to the swings to tell stories and stuff like that… It’s really embarassing thinking back on it, and I have a lot more memories like that”

– Kana talked with her schoolmates about anime such as FMA, Naruto and Prince of Tennis. She says she loves Shikamaru haha. She also says she liked Hughes from FMA.

– Kana talks about her first seiyuu role when she was 14 in Last Exile. I remember her talking about her first impression of Kitamura Eri and how skilled she thought KitaEri was even though she was the same age as her. It must’ve been during Last Exile. Her first main heroine role was when she was 17 in Zegapain.

– Kana says she added a lot of adlibbing to her character in PoteMayo.

– Kana really loves Kobato’s character and the anime <3.

Yeah the post isn’t really coherent. I haven’t done one of these blurbs in a while since all I’ve been listening to recently is anime radio lol.
Ah I want to listen in to the Toyosaki Aki episode now :(
