Kana: “Ah it’s the third episode already, I think I’m getting used to this now.”
Aoi: “Getting used to the show, or getting used to me?”

Aoi: “I’ve been told by people that they were pretty surprised by me when they first met me”
Kana: “Well it was kinda shocking at the start”

– Apparently Aoi likes to cook occasionally.

– Aoi says she’s been treated to a lot of meals ever since entering the seiyuu industry and she feels a bit guilty for it. They decide that they need to carry it on and treat their juniors in the future lol.

– Aoi’s never done any part-time work before.

They spent a majority of the episode doing a quiz with each other so I didn’t really write much for this episode =/

Aoi: “I want to go to Venice and go on a gondola tour! When I was talking about my graduation trip with my school mates I yelled out Venice… And they all looked at me funny”
Kana: “Eh? Why? You should just go if you want to”
Aoi: “Huh? …Venice is in Italy you know?”
Kana: “Ahh…”

– Aoi says she’s a big fan of Pokemon lol

– Ao’s sound effects

Aoi: “If I wanted to go out with my friends but I didn’t have my allowance given to me yet I’d be like *dadaan*”
Kana: “Huh? ‘dadaaan’?”
Aoi: “It’s supposed to be that classic shock horror sound effect *sings it properly*”
Kana: “Ah… I see… Whatever, go on”
Aoi: “Ahh! Don’t ignore it! Tease me for it! I love being teased~!”

Lol OTL. Also I have no idea how to say the sound effect that she says. If you’ve played Peggle before it’s the sound effect of the Spooky Ball… That probably doesn’t help does it? OTL.

– Apparently Aoi’s dad is some kind of manager or head director or something. The details were censored out :O.

– Aoi talked about how much she loved her dad and how cool he was a couple of times throughout the episode lol.

Oh they’re celebrating Aoi’s 18th birthday on the show :O. Her birthday is on the 27th of March. Kana comments how steady she is as a person at 18, saying she was really spacey at 18 ahaha. Yeahhh If you’ve seen Kana at 18 the difference compared to her now is huuuge lol.

Radio for the web anime Yutori-chan hosted by Yuuki Aoi and Hanazawa Kana. The name means something along the lines of “Don’t get annoyed by this radio too~”. Episode 0 is a brief 10 minute broadcast with Aoi alone describing the corners and the radio show. Aoi says she was really nervous since she’s doing this on her own, I’m not surprised though, I think this may be the first time she’s done solo radio work.

– Aoi was in the art club during school. She says she loves drawing, and we all know how great she is at it :D

– Apparently episode 0 was recorded just before episode 1, with Kana watching her outside the studio lol

– Aoi had just graduated from high school it seems.

– The two of them mention that they were lots of adlibbing done during the recording of Yutori-chan :O

– Apparently Kana has learnt Aikido :O

Aoi: “That’s really cool!”
Kana: “Yeah, but I wasn’t any good at it, the teacher told me that I should just run away”

– Kana was in the Computer Studies club in middle school :O She said she did absolutely nothing though lol. The biggest thing she did there was learn Microsoft Word.

– Kana’s script has her saying “nyannyan” and Yuuki tells her to repeat it.

Aoi: “This is kinda off topic, but could you say ‘nyan nyan’ one more time?”
Kana: “…nyannyan”
Aoi: “Thats moe. Okay you can continue now”
Kana: “What’s with this conversation…?”

– Aoi says she knows how to program :O Though she’s doubtful that it’ll come into use as a seiyuu lol.

– Aoi tries to pull Kana into gaming haha.

– Kana is allergic to cats and dogs :O

– Kana’s favourite animal is a turtle.

– “Ao-chan you’re a funny person!”

Kana: “Aoi, you’re a pretty funny person!”
Aoi: “Huh? Am I pitiful? *laughs*”
Kana: “Eh? I didn’t say pitiful! *laughs* Yeah, funny!”

– Aoi says she’s a hikikomori, she spends all her free time at home drawing, gaming or on the computer lol.

– Aoi says she really, REALLY loves her work as a seiyuu, and Kana agrees saying that work is fun :D

Aoi: “And I’m much younger than everyone else, everyone spoils me and treats me really nicely!*laughs a lot*”
Kana: *laughs a lot as well*

– Aoi comments that she’s a boke type, and she really loves Kana’s tsukkomis.

Aoi: “We actually make a pretty good combination don’t we?”
Kana: “Yeah we’re pretty in sync”
Aoi: “I’m the type of person who just keeps rolling with the bokes, so your tsukkomis are really great!”
Kana: “Oh, It’s alright for me to tsukkomi?”
Aoi: “Yeah! Be as sharp as you want! In fact I’d be happier if you did!”
Kana: “…You’re quite M aren’t you?”

This is really reminding me of the conversations between Hikasa and Kana lol.

As always the atmosphere was kinda weird at the start since it’s the first time these two have properly had time to talk to one another but they warmed up to each other pretty quickly :D. I’m still really interested in Aoi and her radio work. I love her more with each time I hear her, and her otakuness is wonderful <3. I really enjoyed this episode actually, I might go through the whole thirteen episodes but I’m really overloaded with radio shows right now OTL I haven’t even seen a single IchiUshi radio episode in months lol. We’ll see how it goes.

Kana comments that the live recording last episode was really tiring and Hikasa agrees.

– Hikasa says she gets hayfever, and Kana says that she’s seen Hikasa always sniffing lol. You can hear her sniffing and playing with tissues throughout the recording lol.

Hikasa: “I want to hug the tissues, they should just become a part of me”

– Kana says she gets hay fever as well, but this year she seems to be pretty resistant to it. She starts singing the Mario Kart star music, but Hikasa doesn’t recognise it at all, asking if she’s singing some kind of mexican samba music ahaha.

– Kana is a fan of baseball :O The two of them start talking about players and teams for a while lol. Incidentally Hikasa was a centre in middle school first year for her softball club and a shortstop + pitcher in her 2nd year onwards.

– They said that they were given cream puffs as snacks during the anime recording :D They sounded so happy recalling it haha.

– They probably spent almost half the time talking about food and sweets lol. Hikasa comments about this and Kana says “It’s okay, it’s a radio between girls after all” lol.

– The two of them comment that the background environment conversations recorded between the seiyuu for Moshidora were really crazy :O I’m gonna have to keep an ear out for that.

– While talking about getting hit by the ball.

Hikasa: “I’ve been hit on the head by the ball before.”
Kana: “Wow were you okay?”
Hikasa: “Also… Well I want this cut out, put a censor sound for it okay? I was also hit at *beeeep*”
Kana: “Why in the world are you saying this?? Hikasa you’re a girl aren’t you?!”

She probably got hit in her nether regions ahaha.

– A listener says “If Hikasa was a female comedian she she wouldn’t be much different” Hikasa says that things would definitely change but Kana disagrees saying that Hikasa would pretty much be the same haha. She then says that the big difference is because she wouldn’t have become involved with MoshiDora! …And mumbles that she probably wouldn’t act any different lol.

– Hikasa congratulates Kana for graduating from University \o/

– Kana tells Hikasa that this is the first time she’s done a radio with a senior as crazy as Hikasa lol. Hikasa also comments that this is the first time that she’s done a radio with someone who tsukkomis her so sharply haha. Yeah Kana’s pretty strong with her stabs lol. Kana apologises and says to tell her when she hits too hard lol.

Hikasa: “Ah don’t worry, I’m basically an M anyway”
Kana: “I see… Wait! I never asked you about that!”
Hikasa: “So yeah, I’m just happy to take it. You could say I enjoy it”
Kana: “Eh okay so next time maybe I should bring a whip or something”
Hikasa: “Well that would kinda hurt… Just don’t hit the face, I’d be like “Kana, not the face!””
Kana: “What kind of radio would that turn out to be!?”

The tsukkomi boke combination of Kana + Hikasa is so great <3

BlazBlue Radio Wide ~Special~

A new BluRaji special released to promote the new PSP and 3DS release of BlazBlue. The video has been changed to a wide screen format of 16:9 which is where the “Wide” in its name cames from.

DemonFM 107.5FM with Jennifer Hale

Jennifer Hale is a wonderful voice actor who’s voiced characters like the female Commander Shepard in Mass Effect, Naomi Hunter in Metal Gear Solid, Samus in Metroid, etc.

I’m announcing here that I no longer care about Japanese seiyuu and all that pointless stuff! I’m now all about English voice actors in games and cartoons! Taketatsu Ayana?? PFFT! No! Jennifer Hale for life! I won’t delete the posts I’ve done till now but you won’t see me talking about seiyuu radio anymore, only English radio from now on!

Demon FM is a radio broadcast in the UK on 107.5 FM. The main thing Matt seems interested in asking about is Jennifer’s role on Metal Gear Solid 4 and MGS: Twin Snakes as Naomi Hunter. This was broadcast in late 2010, about half a year after Mass Effect 2’s release and a couple of months after the English release of MGS Peace Walker. Wait she didn’t appear in PeaceWalker IIRC. Interestingly enough she also voiced a different character, Emma Emmerich, in MGS 2.

– They laugh that Emma Emmerich was Otacon’s sister while Naomi Hunter was his love interest, effectively making her play both his sister and his lover ahaha.

– Matt says that fans will hate him for thinking Naomi should be played by Lindsey Lohan in a live action adaptation of MGS and she says that she would too ahaha. Jennifer doesn’t like Lindsey Lohan?

Jennifer: “She’s a train wreck! You need someone with a brain and a sense of the bigger picture! …Oh sorry I forgot this is for broadcast”

– Matt makes fun of Jennifer for voicing a character in Power Puff Girls lol. She says that working on it was great fun since it was so crazy :D

– On selecting a gender for Mass Effect’s protagonist

Jennifer: “You have got to play Mass Effect with Shepard as a woman. Sorry Mark[Voice actor for male Shepard], but I always tell people, if you’re gonna see your character for hours wouldn’t you rather see boobs than a guy?”

LOL I’m loving that logic >:D

– Matt asks her to say lines from a whole bunch of her own characters, when she gets to Samus she says “Oh, well, that’s just a lot of grunting…. *UGHH*” lol. The way she switches into character voice is so great <3

– How she got into voice acting

Matt: “Why did you get into voice acting?”
Jennifer: “I needed to make a living *laughs* …I guess I have an affinity for it?”

– What’s the weirdest happening you’ve had with a fan?

Jennifer: “Well there was this fan who kept calling Cartoon Network over and over, day after day, they then forwarded him to my agency which he continued to call them instead over and over. Then after that he went and sat in the lobby for two days, which honestly freaked me out. Don’t do that!”
Matt: “Did you ever get to meet him?”
Jennifer: “No, I did not. I didn’t think it’d be a good idea honestly”

As you can probably guess, I’m just trolling here on April Fools lololol. I’m not tired of seiyuu! I still love seiyuu! <3
But really, I do love Jennifer Hale, her voice and her work so much <3 …Though she’s pretty much the only English voice actor I know by name lol.

MM! Radio 2nd Voluntary Club Branch #7

Ayana’s absent for this episode so they have Mamiya Yumi’s seiyuu Gibu Yuuko here to keep Hayami company. In case no one remembers her character, she’s the yuri(?), pink haired ero-massage girl.

– Gibu yells out “SHALL I GIVE YOU A MASSAGE??” right at the start lol.

– Gibu seems to have listened to a previous episode of the radio :O

– It looks like the two of them met and spoke with each other a couple years back when Hayami was in her first year of high school.

– About being Tatsukichi’s ex-girlfriend

Hayami: “That’s a pretty interesting setting isn’t it?”
Gibu: “Yeah! I can’t believe I get to play as Satou Rina’s ex-girlfriend!”

– They laugh at Mamiya’s massage scenes lol. And they dance around how ero they are ahaha. “Please check the uncut versions on the DVD!” ahaha

– A listener sends in a mail saying that he can hear the chair squeaking sounds on the radio. Gibu says that they aren’t chairs but in fact are the staff members ahaha. The laughing voices are actually coming from below! OTL

– They laugh that since this is broadcast on the internet, it makes it a global radio and they should cater to the foreigners lawl. They start saying bonjour and other random words in other languages as well as putting a gaijin accent on their speech ahahaha.

– Audio commentaries from Gibu’s point of view lol

Gibu: “Audio commentary! I know that, that’s that thing where I watch anime and say whatever I want and I’ll get money for it right?!”

Gibu’s a really funny personality so the radio takes a turn towards the hyperactive side with the two of them screaming and shouting far more than the usual MM radio episode heh.

For those who don’t remember/know Sugita’s character in SZS, he’s a person who loves old things and rejects new things. The word for “old” is “kyuu”. With this they make a joke in the opening on Shintani’s name replacing the “Shin” (which means new) to “Kyuutani” lol. I love puns :D

– Shintani goes completely quiet when the two of them start talking about old games lol. Poor Shintani can’t keep up lol.

– Shintani decides to forgo talking and starts playing Monster Hunder on a PSP while the two of them ramble on about games lol.

– Shintani makes a little yelp out of nowhere while the two were talking since something surprised her in Monster Hunter lol. She apologises and tells the two of them to continue.

– Sugita and Kamiya has played Amagami and they’ve mentioned it from time to time on radio lol. Shintani voices one of the heroines in Amagami, Rihoko.

Sugita: “Shintani! Shintani!”
Shintani: “Huh?”
Sugita: “There’s a hole under this fence, we can use it to go to school!”
Shintani: “No! No” *laughs*
Sugita: “Don’t worry I’ll go first AHH YOU GOT STUCK”

– Sugita plays Galge/Visual Novels with his arcade stick console lol. He also mentioned that he wanted to try playing with a DDR mat as it might give him the experience of playing the Galge with his whole body… Or something like that ahaha.

– Left4Dead reference! It looks like both Sugita and Kamiya plays it :D

Lol there’s no way I can keep up with the two of them too. I have no idea about any of these old japanese games OTL

MM! Radio 2nd Voluntary Club Branch #6

NN corner on this episode! \o/

– Looks like the rules have changed a bit to help the two of them out for the NN corner. If they’re stuck on what to think of to say they can ask for a keyword to use to insult the object so they’ll have a direction to think in rather than making it up completely on the spot. Or something like that. In return for asking for the keyword they have to say a line in a really cute voice lol. Ayana tries to pressure Hayami into doing it saying she wants to see a Hayami say something cute lol.

–  This episode’s theme is “Rubber eraser”

– Ayana went first

Ayana:“What are you doing rubbing with your white body! And enjoying it! Stop spreading your rubber everywhere! That’s filthy!”

– Hayami ended up asking for the keyword and the staff gave it to her on a paper. She opened up the paper to find “Bad luck, try again!” on it and they laughed and screamed at the staff for adding dud keywords ahahaha. You can hear the staff laughing at them in the background :D

– Hayami’s turn!

Hayami: “Why are you so soft even though you’re made out of plastic?!”

She complains that Ayana took all the good insults already and she was originally planning to use the whole “rubbing” and “white body” sorta thing so she had run out of ideas when Ayana ended up using them first.

The two of them seem to have a platonic but friendly kind of relationship. They’re not extremely close but you can tell they’re used to being around each other and they’re really relaxed during the radio.

Ore no Imouto ga (Rajio Demo) Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai #12

The Kana x Ayana love level really goes up a notch in this episode. No, forget a notch, more like skyrockets lol.

– The two of them had shared a taxi to the studio right after coming off work together elsewhere :O

Kana: “We’re still together so often still that it makes it seem like the anime recording hasn’t really ended.”
Ayana: “Yeah we pretty much see each other every week”
Kana: “We’re doing a lot of interviews and photoshoots aren’t we?”

– The two of them talk about a second season and Ayana says that after the extra episodes there should be a second season announcement or something lol. Well they have no idea themselves so it doesn’t mean anything I guess. Though I’m pretty sure a 2nd OreImo season is really just a matter of time :D

– Kana asks Ayana about her blog post where she had said Kana touched her thighs lol. Basically the story goes that Kana touched Ayana’s thighs out of nowhere when they had met up recently, but upon feeling her stockings instead of bare skin she was really disappointed and Ayana wrote on her blog that Kana was kinda creepy and how disappointed she looked when she touched her lol. Amusingly Kana’s been getting a lot of mail about this on her Hitori de Dekiru Kana radio and mentions that to Ayana. Speaking about her solo radio, Kana had said that Ayana might become hers if she becomes a bit closer with her around the same time lol. The Kana X Ayana love talk extends to Hitori de Dekiru Kana as well <3

– Ayana asks Kana if she’s always like this when she’s around other people and Kana says “No way!”… She then proceeds to confess her love to Ayana ahahah.

– Talking about how wonderful a sister relationship is

Kana: “Ah sisters are great aren’t they?”
Ayana: “Yeah”
Kana: “Hey why don’t you be my little sister?”
Ayana: “…You’ve already got a younger brother!”
Kana: “But I want to see what it’s like to have a little sister!”
Ayana: “Ah yeah, I’d like a little sister too…”
Kana: “Oh, then I’ll be your little sister!”
Ayana: “But you’re more like an elder sister”
Kana: “Oh really?”
Ayana: “Yeah you’ve got that “calmly watching over me” kind of feeling”

– Kana tells Ayana how cute AKB48’s PV for their Heavy Rotation song is. Kana says that they were in their underwear for it and Ayana’s really surprised to hear that, thinking that the management wouldn’t allow it. She decides to go watch it after lol. Kana and Ayana says they’re both Mayuyu fans. After talking about AKB48 and how cute they are Kana closes the discussion with “But Ayana is also really cute!”

– Kana comments how crossdressing traps are really popular right now lol.

– They comment on how Hayami Saori would look great in a shrine maiden costume. Ayana says that Hayami has a kinda refined atmosphere to her. Kana says they should have forced her to wear it at an OreImo event lol.

– Hot springs!

Kana: “I want to go to a hot spring with Ayana!”
Ayana: “I want to too! Let’s go!”
Kana: “Yay!”

Ayana: “Kana you’ve been acting a bit funny recently”
