Ayana: So I was talking while looking at the wall behind you! *laughs*
Kana: That’s a bit scary putting it that way *laughs* It’s like “Ayachi… Are you seeing something behind me?!”
Ayana: I was trying hard to look at you but then settling on the wall behind you.
*The two of them laugh*

Ayana: This one time I had the chance to do some work with a yuri theme and I bought the manga to take a look at what it was like. At the time I didn’t really know anything about yuri and when I read it in my room it was… A crazy sight *laughs* It was really crazy! I was like “UWAAHH!” and closed it instantly and shut it away at the deepest part of my bookshelf. *laughs*

I’m not exactly sure which Yuri manga Ayana’s referring to here. My guess would be at Love DNA XX possibly? The time frame certainly fits for it’s drama CD but I… Don’t think it was explicit enough to make her react like that though? Maybe it was haha.
Or perhaps she bought YuriHime Wildrose instead of the normal Yurihime lol, who knows.

– Kana laughs that she’s sat next to someone on the train with a bag with one of her characters she’s voiced on the front. Amusingly he didn’t notice her.

– Ayana laughs that as she was walking to the recording studio she saw Kana in front of her and somehow she lost sight of her. Kana then came from behind and touched her shoulder to greet her lol. Ayana was really shocked and laughed that she should’ve called out to her first instead of randomly just grabbing her from behind without saying anything ahaha.

– Ayana laments that she hasn’t seen any of Kana’s event cosplays outside of Kuroneko’s at the OreImo event. Ayana also mentions that she hasn’t cosplayed for an anime event before. If I recall correctly, I don’t think she’s ever cosplayed at an anime event until Yuruyuri’s where she cosplayed as Mirakurun, about 4 months after this episode.

– The two of them joke about putting a photobook out, at first just laughing at the idea of Ayana putting out a cosplay photobook but then Ayana pulls Kana in and says she’d do it if Kana joins her for an AyaKana photobook. They really should make it happen! >:D

Oh wow these two ahaha. The two of them closed up the conversation saying that they were getting embarrassed by the talk ahaha.

– Kana jokes that all these guests coming on the show probably means that the show is going to come to an end soon and Ayana wails that she doesn’t want it to end and that they should do a second season. I AGREEEE!!!
Little does Kana know that her joke is the truth and the radio has only got a couple more episodes till the end ;_;

Kana: I mean, think about it. All these guest coming all of a sudden is weird!
Ayana: Nooo! Noooo! I don’t want it to end!
Kana: And the DVDs and BluRays are about to finish releasing…
Ayana: ….Aww…. What about a second season?! Where’s the second season?!

I really enjoyed this episode <3 The two of them were wonderful :D

Ayana(reading mail from a listener): “My school is having an overnight school trip and it looks like everyone’s going to have to enter the onsen together… But even though I’m in the 2nd grade of Middle school I don’t have a big chest at all! Almost everyone in my grade is wearing a bra except for me! I really don’t want to enter the onsen with everyone with this kind of body… What should I do?! If you know any ways to increase your breast size please tell me! I’m seriously troubled by this!”

Ayana: It’s written here that from information given by Nakahara Mai it looks like Nabatame has increased her bust size to a D.

Nabatame: Why’d the information come from Mai-chan? *laughs* Well last year I made a goal to become a D cup and I put a lot of thought into it and I ended up with talking to myself to increase my bust size.

Ayana: And with that you became a D cup?!

This was a really long conversation but I found it too hilarious to exclude ahaha. Ayana’s chest really is big isn’t it? Lol OTL. I love how she seems to shy away from showing it or talking about it though~ <3

Episode 101 of HitoKana. I mentioned something on twitter about not writing anything on episode 100 due to it being full of games and stuff so she didn’t talk too much and amusingly Kana points that out on this episode as well.

– Bring in Tomatsu Haruka for the Christmas episode!
A bit of background info: Every year on Christmas so far Kana has brought Yahagi Sayuri and Tomatsu Haruka in to guest. Amusingly they talk about eating turkey on the episode but they always bring in and eat KFC instead.

Kana: I was talking with Tomatsu Haruka the other day in a recording and we got on the subject of how long HitoKana has been running for. She told me to call her to come on for Christmas again. She kept talking about the turkey we had at the time *laughs* and I kept telling her “Umm Tomatsu, that wasn’t turkey…” *laughs* I hope we can have a Christmas episode again! It’d be great to have a video broadcast again for that episode.

Ahh I hope they bring the two of them to guest again for the coming Christmas episode :D

– Girls attending the ROKYUBU live concerts.

Kana: There are actually quite a number girls coming to the ROKYUBU live concerts! After the concert is over we’re given letters brought in by the audience and there’s quite a lot of letters from girls! Just thinking that they’re jammed inside that audience *gasp* Good job on toughing that out! I was really happy to find that out though. When I’m singing I’ve noticed some girls in the audience as well and I watch them while I’m singing up there *laughs*

– Photobook shooting in Switzerland!

Kana: I went to Switzerland! Yayy!!! It was a really nice place. It’s kinda rare for me to go overseas especially on a trip where the plane ride was so long. Including the return trip it was about fourteen hours! [EDIT: So it looks like I misheard the including of the return trip part wrong. My bad m(_ _)m] It was about 14 hours and there was the return trip as well! I was wondering what to do while I was in transit. I took photos on the plane to pass the time… And I got pretty into it and took over 20 photos of nothing in that small area *laughs*. Oh and I read a book. And I watched a movie! That “Big” movie starring Tom Hanks. It was really interesting! It was about… Err, A kid in his 10’s suddenly becoming… Tom Hanks. *laughs* Something like that! *laughs* That’s a really bad explanation.

So after having fun on my own like that on the plane ride we finally reached Switzerland. It was beautiful! I was so surprised at how pretty the place was. Walking around the city was like seeing pages from a picture book.

The staff had makeup artists and stylists there and I got to put on make up and costumes I never get to try. Oh and… I had a lot of clothes that bared my shoulders as well. It might look a bit weird *laugh* but… I’d still like everyone to see it! Please look forward to it!

As a random bit of trivia, this episode was most likely recorded quite a bit before her guest appearance on Iguchi’s Mu~~~n so don’t count the other two’s guest appearances out yet!
…But really, I’m still pretty skeptical that she’ll bring them in next episode :( Well I can still dream!

– The three of them get pretty sad thinking about ROKYUBU ending with the tour and that they’ll really miss seeing each other for practice and stuff when it finishes ;_;

– The three of them dance to a ROKYUBU song there :D It’s really cute… But halfway through Hikasa stuffs up and she runs up to the camera and goes crazy while the other two follow ahaha.

– Kana brings in a magazine with a photoshoot where Hikasa’s doing a funny pose with a flower and the three of them laugh about it lol.

– Hikasa brings in a… Oppai/butt mousepad with Hinata’s character on it and the three of them laugh at how perverted it is lol. What are you doing bringing that in Hiyocchi?!!? Amusingly Hikasa brought it in because she thought the mousepad using the character’s butt instead of their chest was a pretty new thing ahaha.

– For some reason Hikasa was given that mouse pad by the ROKYUBU staff and had thought that everyone else was given one… She then found out that she was the only one given one ahaha.

– The three of them start wondering if they could have this setup for Kana’s solo radio as well :O That would be greattt. It probably won’t happen though :(

– The three of them make fun of each others poses in the upcoming ROKYUBU photobook lol.

– Wow apparently Kana’s upcoming photobook was shot in Switzerland :O

I really loved this episode （*´▽｀*）. The three of them really are close with one another~ They really seemed like they were having so much fun just speaking with each other there <3. I really love the combination of these three, I want more!

Radio for the Ao no Exorcist/Blue Exorcist anime hosted by Okumura Rin’s CV Okamoto Nobuhiko. The name of the radio is actually something like “AoEkuRadio Let’s Take Down Satan Together” with an english “Show!” stuck where a “shou” should be. It’s basically a play on words with the english pronounciation and the japanese pronounciation. There’s also another pun with the kanji in there but I really can’t bring myself to explain it lol.

– Okamoto as easily put off balance as ever ahaha. Right from the start.

Kana: Sorry for coming here with no makeup.
Okamoto: Huh? Waitwhatuhhuh? *laughs*
*Kana laughs*
Kana: I thought I should open up with that first.
Okamoto: Huh? But I completely— Without makeup– Sorry! Let’s just start! *laughs*

– First impressions about the character…

Kana: When I first saw her I thought she was a really cute character.
Okamoto: Yeah she’s cute, and your hair styles are exactly the same.
Kana: *laughs* Our hairstyles are identical?

Okamoto: *laughs* Right sorry.

Amusingly Kana had originally voiced Shiemi to sound stupid and the staff had told her not to make her so stupid lol. Okamoto had her give an example there ahaha.

– Okamoto says that when he first saw Shiemi he had thought that Kana would be perfect for her. He then laughs and mentions again that their hairstyles are similar haha.

– Kana says that she’s really been seeing him a lot in different recordings recently.

– Okamoto mentions that he’s shy but puts effort to try to overcome it~

This was a pretty fun episode~ These two are actually pretty friendly with one another with the two of them being similar in age, Kana being 22 and Okamoto at 24, but on top of that they’ve worked with one another in a heap of recordings, starting from when they first regulared with one another in Potemayo on 2007 and from then they’ve been regularing together in a slew of shows to this date. I wouldn’t be surprised to find that they’ve seen each other every week at some other recording or so for the past 2 years.

– Apparently Kana had wanted to form a band with some friends in high school :O

– Kana mentions that she’s lost a lot of weight probably due to the RO-KYU-BU dance lessons, saying that she’s passed her three kilo goal and is at about -4.5 less now. She laughs that no one has seemed to notice it about her though, but she mentions that people have said to her that she looks tired D: Look after yourself HanaKana~

– Listener says that he has the opportunity to talk to Ogura Yui for a minute and asks Kana what he should talk to her about.

Kana: Hmm what should he talk to her about? Well firstly… He should like, express his affection for her–”
Staff: Like “Yui-chan peropero~!”? *laughs*
Kana: NO! DON’T SAY YUI-CHAN PEROPERO! *laughs* You can’t say that to her! Yui-chan’s nice so she’ll probably say something like “Mmm? Pero… Pero?”! But you still can’t say something like that to her! You shouldn’t cause trouble for her! Anyways, you should start with something like  “Yui-chan’s really cute~ My angel! I can’t live without you!” *laughs* Express your love for her like that! And then you lead that into “Yui-chan’s really trying her best aren’t you~ I’ll be supporting you~” If you tell her something along those lines she’ll be really happy.

– Kana played Supercell’s “Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari” on the show ;_; Oh by the way it seems like Kana’s a pretty big fan of Supercell, I remember her mentioning that the lyrics for Supercell songs really tugs at her heart strings~ <3

– Azusa is composing and writing a song for Kana :O. Kana’s already gone to record the vocals it seems, I wanna hear ittt :D

– Eeeehh? :O Kana used to live in the Philippines for a while when she was younger? Wow that’s the first time I’ve heard of this. I’m an idiot, I didn’t hear the context, please disregard this OTL I misheard it lol.

It looks like they might be planning to do something special for the 100th episode of HitoKana :O I’m hoping for them to bring in a guest… LIKE TOMATSU OR TAKETATSU :D :D
…They probably won’t though :( But I can hope! I BELIEVEEEE

For that matter, Hikasa or Iguchi would be great too. Well we’ll see when next fortnight rolls around, fingers crossed~

Shimono Hiro guesting on HitoKana :O It’s a rare combination to see but the two of them seem to be pretty friendly and Shimono voices a character on Hanazawa Kana’s Drama CD project so he’s not too random a guest.

– Shimono Hiro guesting?

Kana: Today we have a guest coming on to the show with absolutely no prior announcement! It’s that person that when we go drinking at a bar he’s always shouting *laughs* Everyone listening probably can’t tell who that is from that *laughs* At the end of the recording of last episode we were talking about having a guest come on to the show and my manager was just like “Oh what about Shimono?”and then started dialing the agency on his phone *laughs* And that was how it happened. Amazing organisation *laughs*

– Kana wishes (while looking at the staff, Shimono and her manager lol) that someone would gift her the ToraDora BluRay box for christmas haha.

– Shimono laughs that he didn’t appear in ToraDora but since Kugimiya Rie and Majima Junji voiced the main characters and are both affiliated with I’m Enterprise, Shimono’s agency he may be able to get her the ToraDora BluRay box set lol.

– Kana’s “Coming Out” 

Kana: I was fangirling over Ogura Yui and I’ve been thinking recently… My hearts been skipping a beat with girls recently…
Shimono: I see… And… What kind of response are you expecting from me with that? *laughs*
Kana: *laughs* Well you’re my senpai after all!

Kana: So what should I do?
Shimono: Well it’s okay isn’t it? If something interests you then good for you!

– They mention that they’ve known each other for quite a while now starting from Sketchbook ~Full Color’S~ on late 2007 and then to Kannagi. That’s probably why these two seem so friendly with one another when I can’t remember when I’ve seen these two on radio together.

I don’t really cover the corners for HitoKana since I can’t really find much to write about them since you would really have to hear her to enjoy them but they really amuse me <3… And it’s also why I don’t usually write much for HitoKana hah.

This isn’t from radio but it’s still Ayana x Kana~ This was from an event that took place at Wonder Festival on 2011.07.24 at the Sega booth. The event was mainly to promote the new OreImo figures that were being released at the time. I didn’t attend the event, nor was there any recording of it but I found the dialogue parts amusing enough to translate in the event report done by KoePota at http://www.koepota.jp/news/2011/08/22/0203.html It looks like it was a fun event~

– Ayana talking about cosplaying as Kirino and Kana as Kuroneko. The Kuroneko costume Ayana refers to is her summer sleeveless clothing.

Ayana: Do they sell the uniform as well? If Kana-chan wears the Kuroneko costume then I’ll wear the uniform as well!
Kana: No way!
Ayana: But you wore that goth-loli clothing on December last year didn’t you!
Kana: There were sleeves on that costume last time!
Ayana: Everyone wants to see Kana-chan’s arms don’t they?!
Kana: Dont underestimate my arms! I could fly with them! *laughs* There are dreams stored within these arms! *laughs*

– About the new figures that will only be available if won from the UFO catcher/crane game machines.

Ayana: They’re wonderful! They make me think “Is it really alright to leave these in the game machine?!”. I wonder if you can see Kuroneko’s underwear? *laughs*
Kana: Don’t look! She’s definitely wearing those pumpkin panties, but it’s made so you can’t see them!
Ayana: “Pumpkin panties”? She’s got her goth-loli clothing theme on everything doesn’t she? *laughs*
Kana: How about Kirino?
Ayana: I don’t know if they are but, they might not be visible? *laughs*. Oh her hair color gradient has been properly colored.

– The event then had the two of them try and retrieve a figure from the game machine. To spice things up they had Kana play the boyfriend role and Ayana as the girlfriend in a situation where the two of them were on a date at the game center.

Kana: Hey theres a game center right there wanna go in?
Ayana: Yeah let’s go let’s go! There’s something I want from there!
Kana: What is it?
Ayana: Kana-chan can you get it for me?
Kana: Alright, if you really want it!
Ayana: There’s this thing I want from the really popular “OreImo” series..
Kana: “Oreimo“? What’s that? Imo? [Imo means potato in jp]
Ayana: No! It’s from that show “Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii wake ga nai“. One of the characters is “Kuroneko” and she’s super cute. Hanazawa Kana’s voicing her character so she’s adorable! Kana-chan can you get her character for me?
Kana: Alright. I’m really good at these sort of games too!
Ayana: Really?? I’ll watch over you from here~! <3
Kana: Okay then, Aya watch this! If I get it for you I want a hug!
*And so Kana’s first attempt at the game machine is a fail*

Ayana: Ah looks like I won’t get to hug you. Lets try again!
Yamaken[MC of the event]: Ah what an uncool boyfriend!
Ayana: Kana-chan is the best boyfriend in the whole wide world so don’t say that!
Kana: Aya… I’m going to get this for you even if it costs me three months of my pay!
Ayana: Three months of pay on this?!
*And Kana’s second attempt is another fail*
Kana: Aya… It’s alright you can go play somewhere else until I get it…
Ayana: I’ll stay by your side Kana-chan! Keep at it!
*And with Kana’s third attempt she manages to barely, and unsteadily, grab the figure*
Ayana: Yay Kana-chan!
Kana: I got it Aya!
Ayana: Kyaa~! I really wanted it!!

And so in the end Kana was rewarded with a hug from behind by Ayana <3

– Closing impressions of the event.

Ayana: I had alot of fun. I didn’t do much other than flirt with Kana and play with the UFO Catcher *laughs*. It didn’t really feel like a normal event! I didn’t expect so many people to be in the audience as well and that makes me really happy. Thank you for today!
Kana: I was really excited about the event today but I didn’t imagine I’d be able to have such a wonderful experience *laughs*. Playing with the UFO Catcher with a cute girl is really fun isn’t it? *laughs*

More Kana x Ayana! I really wish they had streamed this event though ;_; Oh well, the event report was still plenty amusing :D

Comchat Countdown is a long time running show airing weekly since 2002 hosted by Iguchi Yuka and Sakurai Takahiro. The main thing the three of them are here to talk about is Ro-Kyu-Bu it seems. Amusingly Iguchi acts as a guest from Ro-Kyu-Bu for the show rather than it’s co-host. I’m not exactly sure what episode number this is but if I were to hazard a guess, I’d put it at about #460 …And what a guess, after looking it up a bit I found that I was spot on haha.

– Iguchi announces the guests as “Ro-Kyu-Bu’s Hanazawa Kana, Hikasa Youko and *laughs* Iguchi Yuka!” despite she herself being one of the hosts of Comchat Countdown haha.

– The three of them (or five including the other two members of Ro-Kyu-Bu that aren’t present) had to wake up at 5-6 AM for the shooting of the PV :O Kana commented that Iguchi had gone to record Comchat Countdown on the same day and admired how hard she worked :D

– Iguchi then laughed that while Kana had to practice shooting the basketball and stuff, she and Hikasa didn’t so they were always eating or laughing/playing together while Kana toiled away at the hoop haha. Kana remembers thinking “I can hear them” and jokingly yelled at them to go away lol.

– When talking about how nervous and excited they all are for the upcoming Anisama performance next week Kana goes all quiet and they laugh and ask her what’s wrong and she mumbles “I feel like vomiting when I think about it” ahaha.

– The three of them wore a blazer type sailor uniform for their high school, though interestingly Iguchi’s middle school didn’t have a uniform and they wore casual clothing there :O

– Iguchi and Kana said that if they were to say who was the most feminine out of Ro-Kyu-Bu’s members they would ironically pick Hikasa heh, saying that she’s really considerate and her cooking is good… And Hikasa as usual receives compliments pretty embarassedly and gets flustered haha.

– Iguchi says something that sounds like a dirty joke(though she herself denies it) and Hikasa + Kana tell her that she’s fired from Ro-Kyu-Bu ahaha.

– The three of them seem like they really enjoyed spending time together for the dance lessons and stuff like that for Ro-Kyu-Bu <3

The three of them kept going crazy when talking in between themselves and Sakurai had to keep reining them in to discuss Ro-Kyu-Bu lol.

As you can probably tell from the title, this radio is an old radio from about 3 years ago for the Kannagi anime. The first episode had Tomatsu Haruka with the director Yamamoto Yutaka but without Hanazawa Kana… But I skipped covering that hah.

– The two of them mention that this is the first time they’ve been on radio together. I did say on a previous HitoKana episode that this wasn’t the first time meeting on that episode just before Kannagi had started airing but Kannagi Radio had started about a month and a half before Tomatsu guested on Kana’s radio.

– BFF from the start!

Tomatsu: We’ve always seen each other in magazines and stuff and always wanted to meet right?
Kana: Yeah. And… About October of last year? We finally met.
Tomatsu: Yeah around October or November.
Kana: And it didn’t feel like this was our first time meeting!
Tomatsu: Yeah! We were all like “It feels like I’ve known you for a while already!” *laughs*
Kana: *laughs* It was kinda weird wasn’t it
Tomatsu: A bit *laughs* I was like “I’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO MEET YOU”
Kana: Yeah you did say that didn’t you haha
Tomatsu: It was like we were best friends from the moment we met! *laughs*
Kana: It was pretty great *laughs*

– Tomatsu says that when she sneezes, she’s the type of person to sneeze multiple times instead of just once. She also laughs that her voice goes 3 octaves higher when she sneezes so she’s found that people around her find it amusing when she sneezes haha.

– Kana laughs that her kitchen is pretty messy. She also says that her fridge smells pretty bad and recalls a time when she left an avocado for too long and it stunk really bad and when she finally took it out to throw it away…. There was white fluff growing on it OTL

Tomatsu is a fun personality to listen to and you can tell she’s an amusingly exuberant person with the way she expresses her enjoyment. During the course of the radio you can hear her clapping in laughter or hitting the table with her own gestures. It’s a wonderful thing to see :D. Judging by the reactions and her voice changes you can imagine her doing funny face expressions in reaction to certain happenings too haha.
