For this episode they start a new corner imitating as many objects/people as they can within a time limit, aiming for a certain amount of points to achieve a prize(cake). It was hilarious but… I’m not gonna write a thing about it hah. These two do match up pretty well though, I mean Hikasa says in a noble voice “I’m in the music room” and Kana immediately correctly guesses “Mozart” from that lol.

– Tanabata wishes.

Kana: What would you wish for?
Hikasa: Hmm a wish?
Kana: Yeah.
Hikasa: “For all the girls in the world to be mine” *laughs*
Kana: …”All the girls in the world“? *laughs*

Hikasa: And what about you? What would you wish for?
Kana: “To someday buy a large house”
Hikasa: What a… terrible kind of wish to make…
Kana: Why?!
Hikasa: So realistic…
Kana: Well it’s in the far future. Maybe something lighter would be better for Tanabata.

– Seiyuu…

*Talking about the drivers license test*
Hikasa: You know how you have the test in a computer simulation. In that simulation you have children jumping out at you all the time!
*Kana laughs*
Hikasa: When they jump out at you at that speed it’s impossible to avoid them!! So I’ve seen myself… Run over so many children…
*The two of them laugh*
Kana: That sounds dangerous.
Hikasa: Yeah. Well it’s all just a simulation after all so you’ll get a feel for it.

Hikasa: But really even when you know it’s going to come out you can’t dodge it! And then I’m all *KYAAAA* when it happens and there was this other examinee there as well as the examiner which were both silent.
*Kana laughs*
Hikasa: And so they were shocked by the size of a seiyuu’s surprised reaction *laughs*
Kana: *laughs* But seriously! When I enter haunted houses and stuff like that I always realise that my voice goes louder than other people in there.
Hikasa: Yeah definitely!

Hikasa: Normal people don’t normally let that kind of yell out when they’re surprised it seems.
Kana: Yeah maybe they don’t yell that much when they’re startled.
Hikasa: Their reactions are also pretty small.

Hikasa: Seiyuu’s voices are really loud aren’t they.
Kana: Even their normal talking voices are loud.
Hikasa: Yeah. When they’re having fun they’re loud. “kyaahahaha!”
Kana: Yeah. Some pay attention to the noise they make though!
Hikasa: Yeah you’re the type to look out for that.

Hikasa: There was a time when we were found out when we went out to eat since our voices were so loud. We were asked “You’re not normal people are you” *laughs* And we were like “Ah we’re all seiyuu”
Kana: From the volume of your voice?
Hikasa: From the volume of our voice as well as the tsukkomis and the conversations.
Kana: Ah right everyone’s pretty used to doing that.

I found this topic pretty interesting. Seiyuu/people in the entertainment industry really do act different to normal people don’t they~
Speaking of which, I remember another time recently when these two + the other three ROKYUBU members, Iguchi Yuka, Hidaka Rina and Ogura Yui were found out as well when they went out to eat and they were asked if they were idols or something or rather from the entertainment industry.

The Tamuyura cast guesting on Iguchi’s radio, this was part of a project to have the cast appear on each of their solo radios. Asumi’s “Hoshizora Hinata Bokko” had Iguchi and Gibu come guest and Ayana’s “Taketatsu Numakura no Hajimete Demo Ii Desu ka?” had Gibu Yuuko come guest. By the way each of the characters drawn on the title image was done by each of their seiyuu, the top left is Fu done by Ayana, top right is Kaoru by Asumi, bottom left is Norie by Iguchi and the bottom right is Maon by Gibu.

– Iguchi attended Takagaki Ayahi’s solo live concert :O

– Ayana greets everyone with “Uiui!“, her own radio’s [Taketatsu, Numakura no Hajimete Demo Ii Desu ka?] greeting.

– It’s been over a year since the last time all three of them came on Iguchi’s radio to guest.

– Describe the good points of Tamayura:

Ayana: The atmosphere!
Iguchi: The character who appears in the show, Norie-chan! [Iguchi’s character lol]
Asumi: Takehara! [The place where Tamayura takes place]
Gibu: The director! [Satou Junichi]

– They try to position Ayana’s head and Asumi’s hand in a way so it looks like Ayana’s head is on Asumi’s hand on camera lol.

– Asumi says Iguchi’s name instead of Gibu…

Asumi: Iguch— No, I mean— *laughs*
Iguchi: Eh what?
Asumi: I meant to say Gibu-san!
Iguchi + Ayana + Gibu: Ahh!
Iguchi: What? What were you saying about me~? *leans in towards Asumi* What were you talking about~~? What did you get wrong~?
Asumi: Stop it! Stop it! *Swats Iguchi away*

– Their favourite episodes of Tamayura:

Iguchi: When Maon first meets Norie on episode six.
Gibu: Episode two, when they have their sleepover. Seeing everyone’s pajamas was great! Except I was in a jersey.
Asumi: Sayomi onee-chan and Pote-tan’s conversation on episode two.
Ayana: Episode one when Kaori-chan said “Welcome back!” to Pote. [Amusingly Gibu wails that she wasn’t in the recording for that episode lol]

– They talk about how they should dress in a Santa costume for the upcoming Tamayura event but they talk about how they’d have to get their agency’s individual permission before they can. Gibu is freelance though so she’s okay :O. Well we all know they ended up in Santa costumes for the event though :D

– They try to seriously organise a dinner night out with the four of them, Gibu says that if they’re all serious then she’ll plan it all for the three other “Popular seiyuu” lol.

Having Asumi and Iguchi sit next to each other was great :D The two of them were all over each other throughout the episode, tapping, poking, slapping, and leaning on each other at times :D

Hidaka ・ Komatsu no Tenshi ni Narerumon☆ #02

A new radio show hosted by Hidaka Rina and Komatsu Mikako. The title means something on the lines of “Hidaka & Komatsu’s We’ll Become Angels☆”. The radio is a short radio that was broadcast weekly throughout December 2011 and finished on it’s 6th episode.
For those that don’t know Komatsu, more recently she’s been appearing in Mouretsu Pirates as Katou Marika and Symphogear as Andou Sousei. She’s also one of the five personalities on A&G’s Lady Go radio series along with Ookubo Rumi, Mikami Shiori, Uesaka Sumire and Takamori Natsumi. Hah I’m amused that I only knew Rumi out of the five when it first started but I’m coming to recognise the other members as time goes on and their careers grow.

– Hidaka and Sakura had met before on ROKYUBU and Yumekui Merry but this was the first time Komatsu and Sakura were meeting.

Komatsu: Ah so you two get along pretty well?
Sakura: *pauses* …Yeah
*Komatsu laughs*
Hidaka: Hey! Why did you pause before answering!?
Sakura: If it turned out to be one sided I’d feel really sad!
…
Sakura: But I mean, look at Hidaka, she’s always shining so brightly!
Hidaka: No no I’m not!
Komatsu: Yeah her eyes are shining. Her clothes are shining.
Sakura: They sure are shining. So I’m always thinking “Is it okay for me to talk to her??”
Hidaka: What’s with that?!

The two of them concluded that they want to use the radio as a chance to get closer with one another and the three of them start trading email addresses :D

– About Sakura Ayane’s photoshoot for the Voice Angel seiyuu magazine. They have the magazine there with them and Sakura’s groaning in embarrassment throughout the ordeal ahaha.

Hidaka: Ahh SO CUTE!!
Komatsu: AHHH!! …Bare legs… Bare legs!! …Zettai Ryouiki!!
Hidaka: Knee high socks are the greatest!
*Komatsu moans while looking at the photos LOL*
Sakura: What’s wrong with you?!
Komatsu: You look beautiful!
Hidaka: Let’s go to the next page!
*Sakura groans in embarrassment*
Hidaka: Look at this!
Komatsu: Ah this is an angel right here!
*Sakura continues to groan in the background lol*
Komatsu: Ah this makes me want to hug you from behind.
Hidaka: It’s great! She looks great looking behind her.
Komatsu: Yeah she does.
Hidaka: Was it cold? It looks like it’d be pretty cold.

Hidaka: How was the photoshoot?
Sakura: It was embarrassing *laughs*
*They all laugh*
Hidaka: Yeah photoshoots are embarrassing aren’t they~
Komatsu: Yeah I can’t get used to photoshoots.
Sakura: Right. If the staff didn’t suggest poses to me I’d have no idea what to do.

They continue to fangirl over the photoshoots for a while… Amusingly Komatsu mumbled something along the lines of “I want to be the thing she’s riding on…” ahaha. Wait… Komatsu Mikako… Wasn’t that the person on twitter who was fangirling over other female seiyuu a while ago? Lol.

– Apparently Hidaka was told to study other photoshoots to get an idea on what kind of poses she should take.

– Hidaka asks if they’ve done animal noises in a recording before and Komatsu says she hasn’t besides one time where she voiced a cat in the background one time while Sakura hasn’t done it before at all. Hidaka hasn’t as well though she says she’s done something that’s not human before.

Komatsu and Sakura got along really well for their first time meeting, they attributed it to how they were both fangirling over how cute Hidaka was together before the recording started lol.

Hanazawa Kana no Hitori de Dekiru Kana? #104

HitoKana’s famous christmas episode with Yahagi Sayuri and Tomatsu Haruka coming on to guest. Every year on Christmas so far Kana has brought Yahagi Sayuri and Tomatsu Haruka in to guest, making this the 4th time that they’ve come on.

– Four years…

Kana: I didn’t think we’d be doing this for four years now.
Tomatsu: I’m so happy we are~ Wow four years!
Yahagi: It really reminds me of how much time has passed already!
Tomatsu: Yeah now we’re all in our twenties!
*Yahagi gasps*
Kana: Ah we can all drink alcohol now can’t we.
Tomatsu: I just keep downing them now! I love beer!
Yahagi: Ah let’s all go drinking sometime!
Tomatsu: Yeah lets!

– Kana says she’ll buy Tomatsu’s live concert DVD but Tomatsu says she’ll just give it to her. It looks like both of them couldn’t attend her lives though.

– Tomatsu is HEAVILY feasting on the KFC there lol.

Yahagi: *laughs* There’s so much stuck on your face! *Wipes Tomatsu’s mouth for her* You can’t let that happen! There was a huge one stuck on you!
*Kana laughs*
Tomatsu: I did it so Yahagi would wipe it off for me!
Kana: Next year you should aim to be the one doing that for Yahagi.
Tomatsu: Yeah I should!
Yahagi: I’ll have so much leaking from my mouth for you, leave it to me! I’ll just have it all pouring out of my mouth! *laughs*
*Kana laughs*
Tomatsu: You better!
Yahagi: It’ll all just be hanging out of my mouth!
*Tomatsu laughs*
Kana: You can’t do that!
Tomatsu: I won’t forget it! Next year I’ll be like “Aww Yahagi you can’t be like that~ Calm down~”

Oh god half chewed KFC pouring out of someones mouth, that would be soooo bad OTL.

– Apparently Yahagi’s currently in to Uta no Prince-sama :O She says her favourite is Jinguuji Ren.

– They say that they want to continue this for another year, saying that they should record it at a restaurant next time.

– About Radio Cross…

Yahagi: I’m doing a radio with my junior from the same agency, Sakura Ayane.
Kana: Ahh!
Yahagi: It’s… Crazy. It’s really really crazy.
Kana: Ayane-chan spaces out and stuff doesn’t she!
Yahagi: Err spaces out? She just loves you so much that she acts really nice in front of you!
*Kana laughs*
Yahagi: When I told her that I was coming to guest here today she was like “What?! Why is it only you that’s going!?!” Even if you say that to me… “You better do a proper job there!” and that’s how she sent me off here.
Kana: *laughs* Really?!
Yahagi: The age difference between us is about 7 years and you can really feel the generation gap.
Kana: It sounds interesting!
Yahagi: We’re promoting a drama CD called “Quad Cross” with the radio but to tell the truth… We don’t really do much to promote it *laughs* We just do a whole lot of activities totally unrelated to it.

This post doesn’t do the episode any justice! The episode was hilarious, I’d recommend looking it up if you’re a bit interested in any of the three seiyuu :D.

Tales of Xillia Radio #09

Radio for the Tales of Xillia game hosted by Jude’s voice Yonaga Tsubasa and Milla’s voice Sawashiro Miyuki. This episode has Sugita Tomokazu coming in to guest who plays the role of Alvin.

– Describe Sawashiro in one sentence.

Sugita: I love how she gets angry when she’s embarrassed~
Sawashiro: Shut up!
*Yonaga laughs*

– The seiyuu job…

Sugita: I think if I didn’t have this job I wouldn’t be able to integrate well into society.
Sawashiro: Ah I can see that.
Yonaga: “Ah I can see that”?! *laughs*

Oi Sawashiro you’re not supposed to agree with him here!

– About Sawashiro as a child.

Sugita: Sawashiro-san’s been cute since forever.
Sawashiro: Huh?!

– Sawashiro likes Sugita’s voice :D

Sawashiro: What I think is amazing is that when you put Sugita’s voice on an uncool character they end up becoming cool.
Sugita: Ah really?
Yonaga: I agree.
Sawashiro: Sugita’s voice is really elegant like that.

– About Milla, the character Sawashiro voices.

Sugita: She’s pretty much Sawashiro.
Yonaga: I see.
Sawashiro: She’s like me?
Sugita: Milla’s personality and the way she comments on things is like Sawashiro.
Yonaga: Yeah.
Sugita: So with that, lets have you cosplay.
Sawashiro: What?! How did this lead to me cosplaying?!
Sugita: Lets have you cosplay.
Yonaga: A Milla cosplay for June!
Sugita: Yeah!

Sugita: Alright? You’re cosplaying. Yeah?
Sawashiro: If I succeed with my diet~

Sawashiro: When I first met Sugita I was 14 years old and he was pretty much the same as he is now.
Yonaga: Ah really?
Sugita: I’m pretty much unchanged.
Sawashiro: We were in the same training school.
Yonaga: Wow really?!
Sugita + Sawashiro: Yeah.

Sawashiro: I thought he was an alien or something!
*Yonaga laughs*

Sawashiro: I didn’t know when he was joking and when he was serious! I was like “What’s with this person?!” *laughs* I was watching him from afar at the time though.
Yonaga: I know what you mean, when I first met Sugita I wondered how I should approach him.
Sawashiro: Yeah you do wonder about that with him.

– About Hayami Saori…

Sawashiro: I wonder what Hayami’s like.
Sugita: She’s a really rare person. To give my honest opinion about Hayami, I’m still not sure about something for her. She’s either a SUPER nice person, or a really really smart person at handling people.
*Yonaga laughs*
Sugita: But! Even if she is just good at handling people, I wouldn’t mind being deceived with that!
Sawashiro: *laughs* I know what you mean.
Sugita: I’ll be happy with just that!
Yonaga: I’d also be happy with that!
Sugita: Probably everyone would be. *laughs*
*Yonaga laughs*
Sawashiro: It’s like she’s not hiding anything behind her at all.
Sugita: Hayami’s really good at listening but she doesn’t really talk about herself that much.
Sawashiro + Yonaga: Ah I can see that.
Yonaga: We’d want to hear her talk about herself.
Sugita: Yeah when she comes on to guest, dig into her to talk about herself!
Sawashiro: She seems like she’d be able to lightly brush off attempts to ask about her though.

– They bring in a cake to celebrate Yonaga’s birthday :D. His birthday is on the 15th of January by the way.

– Upon hearing next episode’s guest is Hayami Saori, Sugita rejoices and jokes that he’ll come even though he hasn’t been invited to guest ahaha.

So it looks like Hayami’s going to guest on the next episode and the two hosts are going to ask her about herself rather aggressively :O I’ll probably want to listen in to that :D

Ore no Imouto ga (Rajio Demo) Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai #21

The opening drama has Kuroneko asking Manami about what Kirino and Kyousuke were like as kids, to Kirino’s embarrassment. OreImo’s opening drama is always really high quality :O I wonder who writes them?
By the way the radio had the three of them draw Manami. On the left is Ayana’s, the middle is Kana’s and the right is Satou’s. Kana’s drawing is as weird impressive as ever lol. It kinda looks like Iguchi Yuka’s drawing now that I think of it.

– Sugar!
[I’m guessing that I probably don’t need to say this but just in case, “Sugar” is Satou’s nickname. I think it was… Toyosaki Aki?(Don’t quote me on this!) who thought it up during K-ON due to how her first name and last name both have “Sato” in it which can mean “Sugar” in Japanese.]

Ayana: Sugar!! Welcome!!
Satou: I’m here! I was finally called to guest!!
Kana: I… I also want to call you “Sugar“!
Satou: Okay! Go.. Go for it!
Ayana: What’s with this atmosphere?! Is this some kind of formal marriage interview?!
Kana: …”Sugar“~
*Ayana laughs*
*Satou giggles*
Ayana: What’s with the way you’re saying it?!
Kana: Well I want to get to know Satou-san!
Satou: I really want to get to know you as well!
Ayana: What?! Hold on a minute! Even though you already have me!?!
Satou: Ah that’s right! You two get all flirty!
Ayana: Yeah how horrible! She’s always saying how she wants to touch my thighs! She’s cheating on me!
*Kana laughs*
Ayana: She’s cheating right in front of me!
*Kana tries to make an excuse*
Satou: Ah she’s being unfaithful right in front of her true wife.
Kana: I’m not cheating on you!!!
Ayana: Well if it’s Sugar then it’s okay.
Satou: Ah like an official mistress?
*The three of them laugh*
Kana: I don’t know what’s even happening anymore *laughs*

Now that I think about it, Kana and Satou have barely met before while Satou and Ayana already know each other pretty well from K-ON.

– Femininity.

Kana: Satou-san, you seem really feminine!
Ayana: I agree!
Satou: Eh? Really?! Tell me more tell me more!
…
Ayana: The people that come on to guest always seem really feminine.
Kana: Yeah.
Satou: Nabatame[Hitomi]-san really has that image!
Kana: Yeah her cooking skill is real!
Ayana: And Hayami[Saori]-chan as well.
Kana: Yeah Hayamin!
Ayana: She’s such a really good girl in general!
Satou: Yeah Sa-chan’s a really good girl!
Kana: Which means the two of us are probably lowering the average femininity level *laughs*
Ayana: Yeah *laughs* at the end of every episode we’re always lamenting over that!

– Talking about using character lines in normal day speech…

Satou: I like to use… “てへぺろ/Tehepero“ [By the way, Satou is particularly close with Hikasa Youko :D]
Ayana: Ah!
Kana: *In a really unpleasant tone lol* Ehhhhh that’s just because you were infected by it… *laughs*
Ayana: Yeahh…. From a certain… Girl. *laughs*
Satou: A certain festivity-filled girl. *laughs* Her catch-phrase!

Lol Kana’s reaction to hearing “てへぺろ” was hilarious. Now that I think about it, this episode took place at about the same time MoshiDoRadio #09 was recorded haha.

– Continuing on from the topic of people’s catchphrases…

Satou: Ayachi, you like to say “nyaa~” don’t you?
Ayana: Eh? Wait—-
Kana: Oh?! I want to hear more about this!
Ayana: Wait a moment! It’s different!
Satou: You’ve been in a lot of shows where you have to say “nyaa~” and it’s probably become ingrained within you. Like when you stumble on a line you say “nyanyaa” to clear your mouth.
Ayana: I do?!
Kana: Ahh! You might!
Satou: And when you get really excited you’re like “Unyaaa!!”
Ayana: …I might’ve said something like that! I’ve been doing so many cat roles that it’s become like that!

– Listener sends a mail about how Kana and Ayana are appearing in Dog Days with Tange Sakura and if they’ve had a chance to talk with her. He also mentions that Ayana’s photo with Horie Yui where they were wearing matching clothes was really cute.

Ayana: *laughs* This mail just barged right in out of nowhere didn’t it! It’s got nothing to do with OreImo!
Satou: Did you talk with Tange-san?
Kana: We just greeted her for a bit, that’s all.
Ayana: Yeah. I just talked a little bit with her. Though there was a time when she sent in a recorded message to a radio I was involved with for the other host’s birthday. [IIRC this was Numakura Manami’s birthday on their “Taketatsu, Numakura no Hajimete Demo Ii desu ka?” radio. Oh now that I think about it, Tange has sent a recorded message in to Hanazawa Kana’s Hitori de Dekiru Kana  radio as well.]
Satou: I had the chance to regular with her for about a year.
Ayana: Ah Kirumin! [Anime series, “Animal Tantei Kiruminzee”]
Satou: Yeah Kirumin. And she was a really really cute person! Her hair was so smooth!
Ayana: Ah she cut her hair just recently too and she noticed I cut my hair so she was like “Ahh did you cut your hair?? I just cut my hair too!” And it was just a little bit that I didn’t notice at all *laughs*.
Satou: Speaking of people cutting their hair, Horie Yui just did as well.
Kana: Ah really?
Ayana: Yeah she did!
Satou: And she was saying “Nobody noticed that I had cut my hair!”.
Ayana: Yeah at a Dog Days recording she told me “I just cut my hair!” and I always sit next to her so I was like “Ah you did… Really?” *laughs* “…Where?” I didn’t notice at all and she got mad at me saying “Why didn’t you notice it at all?!” *laughs*.
Satou: Ah how cute~
Ayana: Yeah both of them are really cute and nice senpai~

By the way, this was the photo with Horie Yui and Ayana wearing matching clothes.

– Kana jokes again that if Nakamura Yuuichi comes on to guest then it’ll probably mean the end of OreImo lol.

– Satou mentions that she called her grandma to get the feeling for Manami’s character.

– Kana laughs that recently the radio’s been full of signs that it’s gonna end and Satou says that they must do whatever they can to stop Nakamura from coming haha. They laugh that they should just stop him downstairs so he can’t come into the recording booth.

– They mention that they’d like to have Akagi Sena’s seiyuu Ise Mariya come in to guest, or Majima Junji, Sena’s brother’s seiyuu. A shame they didn’t get to :(

– Next episode…

Kana: It looks like next episode will be a Taketatsu Ayana birthday special!
Ayana: I want to have a lovey dovey time with Kana-chan!
Satou: Oh…?
Kana: Lovey-dovey time? But we can’t broadcast that publicly~!
Ayana: Ah really…? How sad…
*The three of them laugh*
Satou: Ah what is with you two?! How cute!
Ayana: That’s disappointing! Well I just want to do something fun!

Ayana: We won’t be ending on the next episode will we? Will we?! Don’t do that! I don’t want to celebrate my birthday and then find out that there won’t be anymore OreImo radio!
Satou: The staff is laughing really hard right now! What does it mean?!
Ayana: Don’t do it! Don’t!! Oh I know! For my birthday present I want a coupon that says the radio will continue!
Satou: What’s with that? Like a shoulder massage coupon except for the radio? *laughs*
Kana: They might just give it to you to make fun of you *laughs*.

Satou: How about a second season then!
Ayana: Ah yeah! I want a second season of OreImo for my birthday! …They all just looked away!
Satou: Yeah they definitely did!

The end of the radio is coming! D: But next episode is going to be fun~ A lot of people have probably heard about it already but it’s taking me forever to work up to it lol.

The anime had just finished it’s broadcast at this time. This is the first time in a long while that they’ve had no guest on the show. The show is on fortnightly broadcast schedule and for the past four episodes they’ve had guests come on meaning that this is the first time in over two months that they’ve had a recording with the two of them alone.

– First time in over two months that they’ve had a recording with the two of them alone…

Hikasa: And it looks like our wonderful guest for this week is…!!
Kana: …What are you talking about??
*Hikasa laughs*
Kana: We don’t have a guest today!
Hikasa: Yeah… It’s going to be us two alone today for the first time in a while.
Kana: I guess so. It’s been a while.
Hikasa: Yeah…
Kana: ..mm…
Hikasa: What’s with that sudden decrease in energy?! Just because it’s just the two of us!?
Kana: *In a super bored tone* Ahh how boring…
*The two of them burst out laughing*
Hikasa: I like that about you~
*The two of them laugh again*
Kana: That’s a pretty positive way to take it. *laughs*

– Take your plain salted onigiris like a man!

Hikasa: What’s your favourite onigiri flavour?
Kana: My favourites would be… Tuna + Mayonaise and Mentaiko[Salted pollock roe]
Hikasa: Ahh there you go aiming for the top flavours…
Kana: What? Really??
*They both laugh*
Hikasa: They’re both like the top #1 and #2 in onigiri flavours!
Kana: Then Hiyocchi which flavours do you prefer then??
Hikasa: SALT ONIGIRI!
*They both laugh*
Hikasa: If you’re a man then you’ll silently take your salted onigiri!
Kana: What’s with that?! Are you actually a pretty downcast person?! *laughs*
*Hikasa laughs*
Kana: Let’s try and aim to eat something cuter Hiyocchi!
Hikasa: Speaking of which, one time during Moshidora we ate salted onigiri–
Kana: Yeahh we did… Along with boiled eggs…
Hikasa: Yeah boiled eggs as well as soy milk.
Kana: It was horrible!
Hikasa: Everything was COMPLETELY white!!
*They both laugh*
Hikasa: SO WHITE!!

Hikasa: Everyone makes fun of plain salted onigiri—
Kana: I don’t think they make that much fun of it…
Hikasa: But it’s sooo tasty!
Kana: Really…?
Hikasa: Yep! Try it with karaage![Fried chicken pieces]
Kana: Ah actually that sounds tasty.
Hikasa: Really!
Kana: I feel like eating them now.

I actually thought Hikasa was joking about her favourite onigiri flavour being plain salt but it looks like she was pretty serious about it haha. Well I love the plain salted flavour too so I’m happy :D

– After talking about how seeing child idols/TV stars from a while back as adults recently is really surprising they talk about their age…

Hikasa: Time really flies… And I’m 25 years old now too…
Kana: Ah really?
Hikasa: Hmm? How old are you?
Kana: Twenty two.
Hikasa: … HUH?!?! [This was a really loud shriek lol]
*Hikasa laughs*
Kana: What’s with that reaction?!
Hikasa: No way! You’re twenty two?!
Kana: Yeah twenty two…
Hikasa: ……….I actually thought you were older than me.
*They both laugh*
Kana: What?!
Hikasa: Ahh I see… I was wrong.
Kana: Yeah.
Hikasa: But time really does fly by.
Kana: Yeah, have to shape up!
Hikasa: …It felt like you were referring to me alone there.
Kana: No no!
*Hikasa laughs*
Kana: I wasn’t!

– Listener sends in a mail about skirt flipping…

Hikasa: Ahh these pervs!!
Kana: But… Flipping skirts is fun isn’t it.
Hikasa: …Ah… You’ve got those kind of interests…?
*They both burst out laughing*
Kana: What’s with that face! *laughs*

Kana: You know how at train stations you go up the stairs and stuff and there’s these high school girls in front of you.
Hikasa: Uh-huh.
Kana: And you can almost see their panties but you can’t.
Hikasa: Yeah.
Kana: And you’re like “Ahh!! Just a little bit moreee!” and you want to just *flip* it?
Hikasa: Well I wouldn’t *flip* it. I’d just incline my head lower while looking upwards…
Kana: You can’t do that!! *laughs*
*Hikasa laughs*
Kana: You’re completely peeking at that point!
Hikasa: Well you know, when I was in high school we were always keeping an eye on our skirts.
Kana: Yeah we were too…. They’re pretty unrestrained about it nowadays aren’t they…
Hikasa: Yeah they don’t really pay attention to it anymore…
Kana: And so I want to know what kind of panties the high school girls of today wear.
Hikasa: Maybe they’re… Not wearing any.
Kana: …Eh?
*Hikasa laughs*
Kana: …No panties?
Hikasa: And they’re all “So close but you can’t see anything!” with their skirts!
Kana: Yeah seriously! How sneaky is that!
Hikasa: Maybe the high school girls of today wear things like thongs and stuff! *laughs*
Kana: Ehh?! What?!
Hikasa: Nooo!
Kana: That’s really aggressive!
Hikasa: Don’t become adults just yet!!

These two are talking like perverted old men lol.

– Talking about being stepped on…

Kana: Hiyocchi, you’re an M aren’t you?
Hikasa: I’m M but… I don’t want to be stepped on.
*They both laugh*
Hikasa: I like being teased in the mental sorta way~
Kana: “Mental sorta way“?? *laughs*
Hikasa: *laughs* I don’t like the physical stuff!
Kana: Yeah that’s pretty bad isn’t it.
Hikasa: Like how they pour candle wax and stuff on you…
Kana: *laughs* Err… Yeah…
Hikasa: That stuff burns!
Kana: Seriously!
Hikasa: No way would I want to go through stuff like that! I might get burnt!
Kana: Yeah! And also whipping and things like that would hurt too.
Hikasa: Yeah no way!

Hikasa: How about you?
Kana: People have said that I’m S…
Hikasa: With me you’re definitely an S.
Kana: Yeah it might change depending on who I’m with.

– Ending thoughts.

Hikasa: It’s been a while since we’ve done a radio with just us two.
Kana: The recording atmosphere was pretty relaxed. It was nice.
Hikasa: And you look really sleepy now too *laughs*
Kana: I was thinking “Ah it’s over” *laughs*
Hikasa: And you were so energetic this morning too! *laughs*
Kana: Well you know—
Hikasa: It was relaxing?
Kana: Yeah.
Hikasa: Now come leap into my arms~
*Kana laughs awkwardly*
Hikasa: Come on!
Kana: …Eh?
Hikasa: I stand here like St. Mary with my arms open waiting for you~
Kana: …Hey… Can you stop with the jokes with no punchline?
*They both burst out laughing*
Hikasa: Well yeah… I guess they don’t have much of a punchline.
Kana: Yeah your jokes are like that!

Ahh the conversations between these two are priceless :D. The way these two don’t hold back with one another is so wonderful <3.

It’s… Been quite sometime since I’ve written about MoshiDoRadio but I still intend to finish it lol.

Shimono Hiro and Ise Mariya’s “Ben-To” Radio “Radi-O” #13

Yuuki Aoi’s second time guesting on Ben-To’s radio. The radio is ending with the next couple of episodes meaning she’ll be the last seiyuu to come guest during it’s broadcast. It looks like Brunette’s/Chapatsu‘s character Nakamura Eriko’s coming to guest on Ben-To’s DJCD special episode though.

– Shimono wails that everyone should buy the DJCD and if it doesn’t sell he despairs over how he’s gone through so much on this radio if it was all for nothing ahaha.

– Aoi mentions that this is her first job of the day.

– Go all out Aoi!

Aoi: Thanks for calling me a second time! I thought the things we talked about last time were too crazy so I wouldn’t be called in again…
Shimono + Ise: No way! It was great!
Shimono: We’ve had worse!
Aoi: Ah really??
Shimono: Yeah.
Ise: It was really crazy. A lot of it was censored out.
…
Shimono: Compared to that time you’re definitely okay!
Aoi: Ah! That means I can go as far as I want without worrying about it!
Ise: Yep! Go for it!

I’m guessing that they’re talking about the time with Katou Emiri lol. There was one whole conversation censored out in that episode.

– The Muscle Detective DVD bonus monologue…

Shimono: And that Muscle Detective monologue…
*Aoi laughs*
Ise: Yeah the one that was included as a bonus in the DVD release.
Aoi: I was thinking that since it was a bonus I could go even crazier than normal.
Shimono: You took that after the anime recording on your own right?
Aoi: Yep.
Shimono: Hearing it was pretty amazing.
Ise: It really was!
*Aoi gets flustered and laughs nervously*
Aoi: What was so amazing about it? *laughs*
Shimono: I was talking to the director about it during the recording outside the booth and he was like “Wow this girl is a genius! She’s amazing!” the whole time!
Aoi: A genius with gay muscly men? *laughs*
*Ise laughs*
Shimono: *laughs* No not that!

The way Aoi reacts to being complimented is so sweet~

Aoi: That Muscle Detective bonus was really crazy *laughs*

Aoi: It was on two pages so the text was really small!

Shimono: And at the end you were all like “*flauahsyshfaaHUHASHUFsasshh*”
*Aoi joins in*

*They laugh*
Shimono: Something like that.
Aoi: It was fun!

That DVD extra is definitely as crazy as they described it, and more lol. Those interested in hearing Aoi/Oshiroi going berserk should look it up :D

Aoi continued to get censored over and over again throughout the radio to Shimono’s alarm lol. He tells her to keep her poor manager in mind when she says this sorta stuff. At the end of the radio she laments that thinking back now that she’s calmed down she probably shouldn’t have gone so far ahaha.

Aoi went crazy with the dirty jokes in this episode lol. It’s really hard to tell what exactly she said due to the censoring but from what I could hear they were definitely stuff that needed to be censored out ahaha.

Square Enix Channel “SquEniChan!” #13

Square Enix’s sponsored radio hosted by Yasumoto Hiroki. The radio airs weekly and started recently on October 2011. The members in the photo from left to right are: Yasumoto, Sugita, Nakamura, Nishi and Arikawa. Arikawa is a 21 year old gravure idol with hopes(?) of becoming a seiyuu and Nishi is a rookie seiyuu in her early 20’s(I think?) currently employed at Sigma 7, the same agency as Nakamura. She hasn’t taken a main/supporting anime role yet as far as I can tell. The assistants don’t quite talk much, leaving most of the talking to the main personality Yasumoto, for the most part they help out with announcements and corners. Arikawa is there for most of the recording but Nishi swaps in for a corner for about 10-15 minutes midway through the episode.

The two guests, Sugita and Nakamura are here to promote two anime, one is Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou and Inu x Boku SS. Nakamura doesn’t appear in Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou though, while the three of them appear in Inu x Boku SS so it looks like he sits out for the first 10-15 minutes while they talk about the anime.

– Sugita’s commute to high school was 40-50 minutes by bicycle :O Wow. He then secretly got a motorbike license and rode it to school, though he parked far away so as to not get found out. Apparently his school didn’t allow it and would’ve taken his license if he was caught.

– It looks like Yasumoto went to a boys high school.

– Err I’m not sure if this is obvious information or not but Nakamura mentions that Fujiwara Cocoa, the mangaka for Inu x Boku SS is a girl.

– Nakamura mentions that Hikasa Youko’s the eldest girl at the Inu x Boku SS recordings and she’s called “old lady” there ahaha. Arikawa is shocked at first to hear this but Yasumoto explains to her that Hikasa enjoys and brings that sorta humor on herself haha.

– Hikasa…

Sugita: Hikasa-san’s the type of person that if you tell her “Ah you don’t need to say anything funny, just sit and relax” the atmosphere would become super awkward.

Yasumoto: But yeah she’s a good person.
Sugita: Yeah I agree.
Yasumoto: If she’s there the place becomes a lot brighter.
Sugita: Yeah.
…
Yasumoto: But yeah that’s what the recordings are like. Where everyone teases and plays with Hikasa-san.
Nakamura: Yeah really. Wait no, it’s different! I’m not that I want to tease her! It’s cause she’s so annoying! *laughs*
Yasumoto: *laughs* Oi! I just wrapped up this topic so nicely and you continue with that?!
Nakamura: She’s noisy!
Yasumoto: Well yeah if I had to say…
Nakamura: Hanazawa-san [Hanazawa Kana] reacts that way too! She’s like “You’re annoying!”
Yasumoto: Ahh well she’s the type that digs in pretty hard.
Nakamura: Yeah.
Yasumoto: Well everyone, just know that Hikasa’s a nice person. *laughs*
Nakamura: Right, we’re not saying this in a bad way. *laughs*

Ahh the Hanazawa x Hikasa combination going as strong as ever~ :D

– Arikawa’s a big fan of anime, which of their shows is her favourite?

Yasumoto: So which of Nakamura’s anime that he’s appeared in is your favourite?
Arikawa: Huh?
Nakamura: Oh? Are we gonna ask her that?
Arikawa: Umm.. Er… The throwing balls with a huge action one. [Lol AKA. Ookiku Furikabutte]
Yasumoto: Ah that one.
…
Yasumoto: And what about Sugita?
Arikawa: Mmmm…. Well it’d have to be the one where he’s being led around by a girl who loves aliens. [Aka. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu!!!!]
Sugita: Ah the one with “yare yare” in it [Kyon’s pet phrase]
Arikawa: Yep that one!

– When Nishi embarrassedly says that she’s never played Final Fantasy before Nakamura yells at her “Why are you here on this radio then?!” lol. She then mentions that she’ll be playing the new FFXIII-2 though and Sugita + Nakamura yell at her again to at least play the first FFXIII before she does that haha.
I… Haven’t played a single Final Fantasy game before too lol OTL.

– Lol poor Nishi was bullied by the three of them quite a bit during the radio. Mostly by Nakamura, her senior in the same seiyuu agency heh.

– Nakamura mentions that he’s heard from anime staff that this year, 2011, has had a lot of original anime do well mentioning Madoka Magica off the top of his head.

It looks like Nakamura and Sugita will be guesting again on next week’s episode \o/.

 

TamayuRadio ~hitotose~ #6

The combination I’ve been waiting for is here!! And a bit earlier than I expected too! I thought they were gonna finish off with this combination :O

– Iguchi’s stomach rumbled at the start of the episode lol. If you put up the volume you can actually hear it ahaha.

Iguchi: We’ll talk about the Hiroshima event later! But for now we’re gonna talk about–
*Iguchi’s stomach grumbles*
Iguchi: …My stomach grumbling *laughs*
*Asumi laughs*
Asumi: Your stomach just grumbled!! Yeah! *sarcastic* Iguchi-san?! Was that coming from you?!
Iguchi: Noo!! It wasn’t me!! IT WASN’T ME!! *You can hear her flailing about in embarrassment lol*
Asumi: Iguchi-san?! Iguchi-san?!?
Iguchi: Maybe it was me… *laughs*
Asumi: Yeah… You’re the only other person here after all… Your hair is a mess now *laughs*
Iguchi: Even though you just lent me a comb too…
Asumi: Yeah really!

Apparently it’s about 5 pm there at the time of recording haha.

– The two of them mention that the anime recordings for Tamayura had already finished at this time.

– The staff and cast had a work party after the last recording and there was alcohol served but the two of them didn’t drink any. Taketatsu Ayana on the other hand though…

Iguchi: Ah Ayacchi drank a bit didn’t she!
Asumi: Yeah she did!
Iguchi: She just sipped a bit of it.
Asumi: Huh?! What?! It got really bad!
Iguchi: What??
Asumi: She was different!
Iguchi: Really??
Asumi: She was really tipsy and airheaded! Way more than usual!
…
Iguchi: Was she really that tipsy?
Asumi: She was really really tipsy.
Iguchi: Did she get drunk?
Asumi: Yup. It was probably the first time I’ve seen her like that.
Iguchi: Wow…
Asumi: It was fun!
Iguchi: Ahh I would’ve loved to have seen that… Why is everyone always having so much fun when I’m not around!
*Asumi laughs*
Iguchi: I had something else work related to run to so I couldn’t stay for long…
Asumi: Yeah that’s right.
Iguchi: It was like “Hi everyone! Cheers! *Taps glasses* I’m off now!”
Asumi: You’re just unlucky!
Iguchi: Yeah really…
Asumi: Even more than me.
Iguchi: Even more than you… That’s so terrifying…
Asumi: What?!

– About the latest episode…

Iguchi: So much happened in that latest episode! Where could we start from!
Asumi: …Take responsibility for what you’ve done.
Iguchi: …Hmm? What for?
Asumi: For making that thing appear in the anime!
Iguchi: *laughs* I realised something from that… When you put real life things in anime… They look great! *laughs*
*Asumi laughs*
Iguchi: It was so cute!
Asumi: That’s such a positive way to look at it *laugh*
Iguchi: It was cute wasn’t it?!
Asumi: …The colours maybe…?

For those that don’t know what they’re talking about, Iguchi was filmed in a Tamayura related series of videos where she had to bake a cake and the cake she ended up cooking up was… This:

Real life version on the top, anime version on the bottom.

The cake then made it’s way into the anime and that’s what’s being discussed here. For those interested in watching the videos you can see it on the Tamayura website. Look for videos with the title “井口裕香のとびきりスイーツ”

– A listener asks what instrument would they play in a band if they were to choose one…

Iguchi: They should take advantage of this idea! Then Tamayura could have a movie release as well!

She then proceeds to claim the “left-handed bassist” position with Asumi choosing the drums. I smell K-ON references ;)

– It doesn’t look like Asumi watches K-ON but Iguchi on the other hand seems pretty knowledgeable about it :O Does she watch K-ON?

– Iguchi says that if everyone wears mini-skirt Santa outfits at the upcoming Christmas Eve Tamayura event she would too… Though she’d prefer to just see everyone in them. Asumi mumbles that their agencies probably won’t allow it and Iguchi grumbles about how the agencies always stop these things from happening. They then laugh that since Gibu Yuuko is freelance she can wear it so she’ll end up being the only one there in a mini-skirt Santa outfit lol.
EDIT: They actually did end up dressing in Santa costumes for the event :D

– Asumi then says she’d be okay with wearing a reindeer costume and Iguchi says that the reindeer costume would be a full-body tights costume ahaha. Asumi then refuses to go anywhere near something like that.

– One of the corners have the two of them answering questions about each other to find out how close the two of them are and the first one is “What three things do you think Iguchi needs to improve about herself?” where Iguchi has to guess at what Asumi would answer.

– The first guess by Iguchi was “How irritating I am!” lol, which was wrong, Asumi answered “How fickle minded she is”. Iguchi acknowledged that Asumi’s right about that. Asumi does say that she doesn’t think Iguchi is irritating at all though~ <3

– Iguchi’s second guess was “How she’s always late”. Asumi laughs and says that it applies to both of them though Iguchi’s usually worse. Apparently when they went out together one time Iguchi was super late. Asumi answer was “How she likes to play pranks on people” Iguchi laughs that it sounds like a cute attribute to have. Asumi then gives an example of how Iguchi like to play pranks on people during recordings and… Iguchi laughs that she touches Asumi’s butt during recordings when they’re not quite supposed to be making any noise to prank her LOL. OTL That’s pretty crazy ahaha. She laughs that Asumi’s reaction is really cute~

– Iguchi’s third and final guess was “How she goes shopping too often” which Asumi fully agrees with and tries to change her answer to that but… To no avail. Asumi’s answer was actually “How stubborn she is”.

– It was then Iguchi’s turn with the question “What good points would only Iguchi know about Asumi?” with Asumi guessing at Iguchi’s answers. Iguchi wails that Asumi got to talk about Iguchi’s bad points while Iguchi has to talk about Asumi’s good points.

– Asumi’s first guess was “How accepting I am” Iguchi agrees but… Actually answered “How warm and fluffy she is” she then goes on…

Iguchi: Her atmosphere is like that~ …Also her butt as well *laughs*

Ahaha. They then laugh how it might end up on her wikipedia article as “Asumi Kana’s butt is warm and fluffy – By Iguchi Yuka” ahaha. The two of them state that the listeners shouldn’t put that on Wikipedia and… Checking Asumi’s page, it’s not written there right now but it looks like there were some edits that had added it in and was then removed shortly after OTL.

– Asumi’s second guess was “How serious she is”, Iguchi’s answer was “How considerate she is”.

– Asumi’s last guess was “How maternal she is” to which Iguchi bursts out laughing.

Iguchi: Oh? Asumi-san do you think of yourself as ‘maternal‘? Ohohoh!

Ahahah Asumi then breaks down in embarrassment and tries to get out that Iguchi might have said that about her before. In the end Iguchi’s answer was “We seem to match”.

– Apparently Asumi is the youngest child of her family.

– Asumi mentions that she’s been noticing Iguchi’s become more fashionable recently~

– Asumi wishes that she could be popular among other girls so Iguchi says…

Iguchi: You are! After all you have this… Super avid fan here right in front of you! *laughs*
Asumi: What’s with that *laughs*

– It looks like the two of them had been talking for almost one and a half hours, meaning that over 25 minutes had been cut from the episode :(

Ah these two were as wonderfully close as ever <3 I love listening to these two together~ By the way, Iguchi’s stomach continued to grumble a couple more times throughout the episode haha.
It looks like next episode has the four hosts back together again. So my original prediction was kinda right in that they would finish off the radio with this combination. Sorta.
